First offense looked great!

Palmer looked awsome!

Gresham and Shipley looked good!

O-Line looked good, still wanna see Mathis in the starting line-up, but i guess thats not happening!

Defense i dont know what to think, last week looked awsome this week showed flashes, but gave up so many big plays. D-Line needs to be more consistant with there pass rush, i agree young guys look great, but the Vets need to be better. Odom just looks to slow and is getting no push anymore looked rusty. The line worries me for the regular season. Once again though i dont know what to think, last week looked awsome this week not so great??

Listed in order of personal conviction:

5. The starting defense looks absolutely nasty against the run. When the safeties are back that'll become even more evident.

4. The backup quarterbacks continue to look pretty horrid, but both put up decent yardage tonight. Our whining would make an outside observer raise an eyebrow, I think, even considering Jordan's awful interception and O'Sullivan's ability to sedate an entire viewing audience.

3. All of the pass-receiving weapons continue to impress. If Gresham can do anything remotely close to this in the regular season he'll surpass my initial expectations three-fold.

2. Carson looked absolutely awesome. Give him time to throw and a consistent running game and he'll move the offense right down the field.

1. f**k Rayner.

Please God, let this defense get their sh*t together soon.

This offense is going to be scary good and a top 5 defense would equal a deep playoff run.

I'm beginning to feel it Army. I just to want them to gel too early.

Outside Rayner, the special teams look pretty awesome too. The return game has been ridiculous in every game, and the coverage teams look great too. Huber has been a bit up and down, but I'm not worried about it really. He'll still use that directional punt skill very much to the Bengals benefit throughout the year. Hopefully he doesn't have to punt much though.

Yea i think the defense is alittle to inconsistant right now. Last week they looked good, this week not so much. They stoped the run early, but then CJ kept getting away. Without the pass rush teams will throw all over the Bengals. Leon needs to improve also to many penalties on him as keeps getting beat. Hope they get it toghter soon also.

ya he doesn't have like killer leg when comes for distance but still his directional skills and hell his hangtime to shut out good returners was impressive.

Good read on bengals.com on Zimmers post game notes. He said they were no good tonight but they were down d-linemen, and had no safties, and said we will see them in Nov lol ! Also was asked if played vanilla defense because they see them in the reg season, and said "well see". So who knows maybe they didnt show much tonight?

Gresham is going to be insane.

Compulsive gambling types should pick him up in their fantasy leagues. He's grabbed literally everything that's been thrown his way.

The odd thing is, it's rare that a team can announce ahead of time who they're going to take in the draft - then actually do it.

The Bengals know what they want apparently. Great 1st round choice.

Just got back from my vacation and watched the game. I seemed to see the defense differently than most people it would seem. A lot of people seem worried, what I saw was a defense that ran a straight 2 deep 4 under zone on every single play of the game. This was a defense that was confident that they had their stuff together, and not only didnt want to show anything but was playing the best defense for keeping things in front of them with little risk. Of course any mitigation to the risk is nullified when Ghee runs head first into someone. I actually feel good that this defense is ready, otherwise Zimmer wouldn't have laid down the way he did on his calls.

On offense, I was possibly the biggest critic of the Gresham pick, but I have to say he has been more nfl ready than I had expected. His blocking is still bad, really bad, but he is trying.

I don't have many concerns on the Defense more so since zim won't go all out in preseason but I do have some concerns

-Health We were down our top 4 safetys but 3 should be ready week 3.

-Passrush from our Starters but atleast it seems like our backups can

-Dhani Jones I love the guy I loved him when he was a eagle and well he gold when comes to lining up players and making adjustments his play vs the Pass worries me...Just seems like speedy guys in the middle are torching..

Overall I'm not worried aslong as they can stay healthy for most season I think we'll have top 7 defense again.

Well he has looked bad at times he's also looked good for a guy who wasn't asked to block really in college,But he's shown enough that he could be a good blocker just needs the Reps.

I must be a compulsive gambler, he is my backup TE. He will only play when Dallas Clark is on a bye week though. Even though I was a non supporter of taking a TE early, he has looked very solid this preseason.

the first team O look great! weapons every where these guys are going to be hard to stop. defense started strong then faded once 2nd teamers started to play. the bills also keep the 1st string in the game and took advantage of our backups. knowing zim controls the defense so no worries there just have to get healthy. S/T look very good. jones and cosby very dangerous return men, glad to see nugget got a chance at a 54 yarder and nailed it with room to spare. also love what i am seeing from all the young guys. this has to be the best group of 1st and 2nd year players i have ever seen on this team. atkins is a beast with johnson and dunlap not far behind.

the bad, jt just sucks. andre smith looks like a fat slow blob. the penalties have to stop way way to many. to the bengals credit it seemed like the refs where targeting bengal players more than the bills. i seen so many missed calls against the bills it was not even funny. like how in the world can there fullback tackle our defenders and get away with it twice? then spillers td, he stepped out and also cosbys fumble. those where 2 plays that happened under 2 mins and the booth should have called for a review on both plays and they never did.

Flacco played terrible in the 2nd half FYI

:sure: How long did he play?

not sure but he was like what 18 out 24 and 2 td's in 1st half then finished 21/34 2td & 1 int

FYI, WR Donte Stallworth broke his foot last night and is out 8 weeks.

Wow, it just keeps getting worse for Baltimore.

I see them as the biggest competition for the division crown.

And coincidentally, the Bengals hugely upgraded their receivers while the Ravens are injury riddled in the secondary.

Should be a repeat in the North for the Beng-Bengs.

What is a Beng-Beng? Sounds like something my 3 year old would say.
