JoeMama
don't mind me, still pimping Thigpen...He's certainly a more interesting option than Troy Smith. You know he's good because Bill Parcells nabbed him immediately. As a third string he tossed 18 tds and 12 ints in KC. He's a diamond in the rough.

JoeMama
Nothing wrong with that. Dude will get another crack as a starter in the next couple years.
MrSwaggins
Troy Smith would be a huge upgrade over Carson's mini me or that Irish guy. The previous poster is right, Smith was the starter all during camp, then got the flu a couple weeks before week one. Flacco stepped in and played great, the Ravens haven't looked back. Just because Smith isn't better than Joe Flacco doesn't mean he's not better than our two backups. I watched some of his preseason play last year and he looked pretty good. To sum up, Troy Smith<Joe Flacco Troy Smith>JTOS/Mini MeThere, math proves it, Troy Smith should be our backup quarterback if the Ravens are ever dumb enough to cut him or put him on the practice squad. I am a total mark for Troy Smith because he has some of the tangibles and all of the intangibles.Agreed. Smith's also a decent runner when the pass falls apart. Unlike O'Sullivan who's already got two intentional grounding calls this pre season.

BengalPimp
Just read that Batch might get released.... Interesting option. Certainly better than JTOS.It's too late to bring in a new QB now. Besides, if they wanted an old guy I would have preferred someone like Jeff Garcia.....I mean, any NFL job has got to be better (and pay more) than playing for Omaha of the UFL right? derekshank
Pat White is likely going to be cut in Miami. At the very least he would be able to do things with his legs that JT and Jordan couldn't.

That's a big IF, though.

Kazkal
If he's okay with a backup roll bring him in,my guess is he wants try catch on to team with very bad QB's though so he has a chance to start.

Stripes
I know it's late to bring in a new QB, but I would like to see them try for Leinart. If he comes aboard, just cut JT, promote Jordan to the #2 and groom Leinart to move into that position as soon as he's able.
