Reds vs. Cubs

The Reds have a day off today before heading to Chicago to start a 3 game series with the Cubs.

Arroyo will take the mound in the starter. Here's to hoping the Reds can work out some of the dings they've got going on right now.

The Cards also have the day off before starting up Friday against the Marlins.

Hopefully the Reds just stay focused on this series with the Cubs, knowing they will be hosting the Cards in a big 3 game series after this one.

They just handed the Brewers an asswhooping the other day, so I'd rather them not be overlooking the Cubs while thinking about the upcoming series with the Cards. Just go handle business and win another series !!!

Just keep it rolling through the weekend, and speaking of which, this Sunday I'll be at the Padres @ Diamondbacks game in Phoenix! Really looking forward to it. The downside is that I'm going to miss the 1st half of the Bengals game that same night.

Janish has really stepped up big. During the three games he has filled in for Cabrera he is batting .455 with a home run and 4 RBI. Not to mention the .500 OBP and terrific fielding.

Just noticed on MLB.com that the Reds have the best record in baseball over the last 10 games.

Reds up 6-0 in the 5th and Wood hasn't given up a hit.

Reds win 11-4. Chalk up the road sweep, and they're now 16 games over .500. They're fast approaching the best record in the NL, at 0.5 games behind Atlanta and 1.5 games behind San Diego.

Actually scratch that. They're 0.5 behind San Diego too.
