ArmyBengal
Most people are quick to forget we drafted Shipley.Heck one of the Navy guys I work with, who is a Texas fan, had forgotten he went to the Bengals. When he asked me what I thought about the TO signing, I brought up Shipley and his eyes turned to plates when he thought about that lineup.Yeah, I'm still liking it !!! COB
I heard Marvin and T.O. interviewed.Marvin of course played it very close to the vest. One interesting thing - He said he was watching Andre very closely and would gladly PUP him. He said you have to watch Andre, because if it were up to Andre he'd play football in the condition he is in right now. So Marvin said he (Andre) is going to play only on my schedule, when I think it's right, not his. He seemed to be saying it was conditioning, not the foot. And he said a few other things that basically can be summed up as we have to be by his side every minute to make sure he does what we want him to. It sounded like Marvin likes Andre, but doesn't have any faith in him to do anything on his own.T.O. blabbed on about nothing. Chad's great, I'm misunderstood, the media misportrays me, blah blah blah. I'll give him credit for one thing, the guy is bright. He gets asked a question and comes back with a very well constructed answer, usually talks for a minute or two. T.O. sounds to me like he'd be a good agent down the road. One funny thing, he doesn't have any idea where people got this idea in their minds that he is a bad teammate or a locker room cancer.
