membengal
One note on the highlights, those are from the morning practice, so the #81 you are seeing is AB, not TO.
derekshank
Yeah. If you watch the one from last night... it's annoying how T.O. centric it is.

Then just some throwing around and Palmer and T.O. talking.
membengal
mods/admins, Derek has the right idea...can you change the title to just "training camp highlights 2010" and then maybe people can add on as the videos come available? It would be nice to have htem in one place on here...

membengal
Yes, yes he is. A quick glance at that video tells one that. But you really don't need to glance quickly, take your time glancing and Jones will still be running...
Kazkal
-MJ god is that boy big and easy to make out,Also happy to see him working out with the Linebackers seems that he'll stay as LB/DE hybrid which I think he'll excel at..
bwillycuse
I thought Simpson looked fast out there. Every time 89 came up I was impressed. If he has his assignments down it'll be hard to cut him. Im starting to think Briscoe is going to practice squad unless he doesnt clear waivers.Ocho, TO, Bryant, Caldwell, Shipley, Simpson and somehow squeeze Cosby in there. (No 3rd QB)Highlight Jones in preseason to trade for a 6th or 7th. Dont let Briscoe see the field to stash him on practice squad. Purify gone.I love the training camp highlights. Bengals need a better camera though. Its 2010 Mike - HD please.Who Dey

ArmyBengal
Is it just me or does Chad's quickness in running drills make every other WR look like they are running in lead boots ??Caldwell was the only one who appeared to have the same kind of quickness from what I saw. I've always felt like Chad's quickness stands out. It's been that way in these training camp videos for years.I think Shipley looks equally quick as Caldwell. And I agree with bwillycuse that Simpson looks good in shorts. He's the guy I'm pulling for to make this team as the 6th WR, and then hope Briscoe doesn't get plucked from the PS. derekshank
I want Simpson. Couldn't care less about Briscoe.I more or less feel the same way. My thought on Briscoe is that if he stays around and progresses, maybe, just maybe, they won't draft a WR in the 6th round next year.More of a fantasy than a hope, huh? ArmyBengal
Do people still believe we have the #2 o-line in the league ??While I'm not saying they suck, they will be the weak point of this team.
Kazkal
2# Oline? no but if we get our true starters healthy think it will be solid...but if it remains the way it is "shudder?"
ArmyBengal
The #2 ranking was in an article recently placed on the board. I simply disagreed then and have no reason to agree now.

derekshank
Annnnnnd...done! Day 2 of training camp and the season's over. Take it easy. No one said what you're rolling your eyes at. I'm as optimistic as they come... but I do think Cook needs to improve in his pass blocking. That said, we've got video of precisely two plays with no pads. The sky isn't falling yet. HairOnFire
Do people still believe we have the #2 o-line in the league ?? Be fair. That ranking was a projection partially based upon Andre Smith replacing the very player who just got smoked like a ham. Simply put, this team needs Sugarteets. Simply put, this team needs Sugarteets.Sure, except there had been reports since prior to that article being written that they weren't sure of:#1. Andre Smith was going to be fully healed#2. Andre Smith was going to be able to win the starting spotI'm not as worried as my comments might have come across and for the weakness I view our o-line as, I don't see it as being a very big problem at this point. I was more taking a shot at a ranking I didn't agree with regardless of who was starting at the RT position.Like Derek, I'm still very pumped with what I expect out of our offense.
