TJJackson
Look to the left(edit per BengalByTheBay's note later in this thread - the guy pictured to the left is Reggie Myles, gunner extraordinaire. Yes, I am a big fan of great special teams play)
redsbengalsbucks
Isaac Curtis, he is the reason that I am a Bengal fan. He was flat out, the best WR of his day. Kenny Anderson and Pete Johnson are close seconds here. I loved to watch Pete pull two/three defenders with him to the endzone.

COB
Deacon JonesAs a kid I had a poster of him on my bedroom wall, rounding the corner in an old white and blue Rams uniform. Fearsome on the field, then followed that up with a career as a senior statesman talking s**t about all the current players. Since we're going old school, I'll go with Jack Tatum. HairOnFire
As a kid I had a poster of him on my bedroom wall, rounding the corner in an old white and blue Rams uniform. Get this. In the seven seasons from 64' thru 70' Jones averaged 18.4 sacks per season. Without question the single greatest defensive player I've ever watched in my lifetime....including Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, or anyone else you might mention. Fearsome on the field, then followed that up with a career as a senior statesman talking s**t about all the current players. In fairness, he talked plenty of s**t while playing, and always backed it up. Sort of a retro-Chad in some ways, from singing on television to acting in films. But that's as far as the comparison goes as Deacon could make you laugh out loud while simultaneously scaring you s**tless, a fairly neat trick that few can manage. Since we're going old school, I'll go with Jack Tatum. I'll always remember him as the guy who knocked Sammy White's head completely off in the Super Bowl. Or so it seemed at the time. derekshank
Barry F'n Sanders.........Most electrifying player to ever play the game. Greatest RB EVER!!! Just imagine if he had a better O-Line...SCARY![media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CumoHC3phUYeah, there's nothing like a Barry Sanders highlight. But he also had the most tackles for loss every year in the NFL. His dancing around made great highlight reel stuff... but most of the time I would get frustrated that he didn't take the 2 yards that were there, and instead would lose 6.My favorite Offensive player was probably Elway. Defense was probably Derrick Thomas - ever since I watched him get 7 sacks in one game.
Scout200
Personally speaking, my favorite NFL player is Vernon Davis. I feel that he's a he's improved tremendously and it's awesome to see that transformation!!-Scout
