PFT reports that Jason La Canfora reports that after seeing him in OTAs, that Odom will be fully ready by training camp.

Odom also says he has a personal goal to lead the league in sacks.

Good news all around. This D-Line should be very good if it stays healthy.

And even if he goes down this year we have significant depth behind him which was not the case last year with MJ being a rookie and not having Dunlap to fill in.

I hope he's 100% by the time preseason starts, that way he can shake off the rust then. Even if healthy, there is bound to be some rust having not played since October.

It's great that he wants to lead the league in sacks, but I'll be happy with 10, and constant pressure.

Torn achilles? He'll never be the same, as far as I know. Then again, maybe it wasn't torn all the way through. I think Reggie Kelly had the same injury, so to a certain degree our season depends on how well guys can recover from that injury in this day and age.

Odom put on a lot of muscle and magically stayed just as quick, or got quicker, before the '09 season. Let's just imagine that his diet and exercise program will be just as good this off-season, thus allowing him to miraculously heal and still be huge and quick. He could be the Roger Clemens of defensive ends.
