BengalszoneBilly
I was thinking the same thing, but you never know. Have faith...I have faith he'll be here early Monday, and taking into account his seniority and post count here, I prefer we wait for him. Overall this years mock draft is doing quite well, and a break may well be in order. Especially as we approach the Bengals #21 pick.
ArmyBengal
Again, thinking the same thing that his time would take us pretty much up to the end of the night, so no harm, no foul by my account. He will certainly be around in the morning to make the pick, so I'm not concerned in the least. HoosierCat
I was going to pick Hoosier for the Raiders I would demand a trade.
ArmyBengal
I was going to pick Hoosier for the Raiders I would demand a trade. Yeah, Al Davis heard you had 4.3 speed and figured, why not ??Plus you haven't been taking hits, so you should be fresh and ready to go right ?? HoosierCat
I was going to pick Hoosier for the Raiders I would demand a trade. Yeah, Al Davis heard you had 4.3 speed and figured, why not ??I'm only that fast when I'm empty and I know there's only one beer left in the cooler...so yeah, I guess if they just put a beer guy in the end zone I'd be good. And by the third quarter I wouldn't feel the hits any more either. ArmyBengal
I dropped Hair a PM so when he came on the site today, he knew what was up. My time is up until later due to the work block on sports sites, so I'll talk later...
ArmyBengal
Well, no Hair to be found, but I'm in a position where I need to step right back out. Please feel free to make Pittsburgh's pick at your convenience.I will check back in when I get the chance in a couple hours.

ArmyBengal
I made the pick for Hair and with his feeling for Pouncey, I believe that would have been his choice. I could be wrong, but it is now so here we go...TDlong is now on the clock with Atlanta

I could be wrong, but it is now so here we go...TDlong is now on the clock with AtlantaDoes that mean the Steelers are banking on Hines Ward and Antwaan Randle-El ? Oh wait, they also have Joey Galloway don't they? Seriously, they might not draft a WR until much later. Mike Wallace is a decent young WR, however Limas Sweed is a Bust. HairOnFire
I made the pick for Hair and with his feeling for Pouncey, I believe that would have been his choice. I could be wrong, but it is now so here we go... Not a bad pick. Sorry, I was expecting a mock draft death march like last year, and assumed I had plenty of time. And like the man said, I don't do weekends. FWIW, I think Pittsburgh's biggest need is OL or CB and would have selected Kyle Wilson.
ArmyBengal
Hey, TDlong hasn't made his pick, so if you prefer they take Kyle Wilson, by all means...As for their WR situation, yeah, they will wait if the board we had is what faces them in 10 days. There's simply no reason to reach for a WR in the first when there are at least 2-3 other better players that also fill needs. Hell, an argument could be made that they take Spiller right there simply based on the BPA concept and the value that he would represent with the 19th overall pick. No more "fast" Willie Parker and he would compliment Mendenhall nicely. If nothing else, I'm sure they would be entertaining trading down with a team looking to grab Spiller right about there. Kazkal
Steeler fans were pimping Jordan Shipley when I was last on there board doesn't really seem like they wanna see a 1st round WR,Though Holmes gone and Big Ben drama maybe they'll try get back to old steeler football. ArmyBengal
Like I was saying, they can find that WR in the 2nd or 3rd, but to reach for one in the 1st when there are better players to fill equal if not bigger holes is just dumb. That being said, I hope they take one !!!

HairOnFire
Hey, TDlong hasn't made his pick, so if you prefer they take Kyle Wilson, by all means... No, I blew it and I deserved to be punished. Besides, the pick you made in my place was my 2nd choice. As for their WR situation, yeah, they will wait if the board we had is what faces them in 10 days. There's simply no reason to reach for a WR in the first when there are at least 2-3 other better players that also fill needs. True, but Pittsburgh's newly discovered need is just one more reason why Dez Bryant won't fall to the Bengals in the real draft.

I dunno you just got rid of a guy with a bad attitude so would you really want to go after a guy who is so suspect? Read on a article that even Benn may be looked at before Byrant by some teams.
