Change the record guys, the Chad-bashing is getting old.

If you've got a problem take it up with your boy. Because nobody would be talking about him if he didn't want them to.

As for changing the record? Well, consider it done because I'm now tossing the too lightly touched down puffery of Mister Bojangles in favor of....

"Is this what you wanted?

Is this what you had in mind?

Because this is what you're getting.

And I hope...I hope...I hope you choke."

The Bengals would not have won the division last year without Chad

Yep, I will agree with that and it was the same way in '06. Sadly something else that was the same is that Chad couldn't do anything to get them by the first game of the playoffs. If he is expected to be able to carry them to a Division crown, then is it really to much to ask for him to be able to manage a half way decent game once the playoffs start ?? Not saying you are defending that Wal, just saying is all...

EDIT: And for the record, Chad was WAAAAY focused heading into last season. Kept his mouth shut and trained. His focus paid off and he had a decent season. With all this other stuff going on, Dancing, Dating, Prancing around naked, Twitter wars with analysts, where's the time for the focus ?? Once again, as I've said now for a couple years, if Chad can find a way to help this team win, great. I'll even be happy when he scores TD's. Bottomline is, I think Chad is an immature kid who has some mental issues and I don't care for him.

Oh yeah, that started when he said he didn't care about the fans a couple offseasons ago and then wanted us to "understand" him.

I'm glad I don't get criticized for trying to live a life outside of my main occupation.

He's the best receiver the Bengals have ever had. I won't crucify a guy for trying to have fun.

BTW, Carson without Chad last year = garbage. Also, he knows that he plays on a run-first team, and he's the first to say that he's ok with that.

Change the record guys, the Chad-bashing is getting old.

#1. Unless you are an NFL wide receiver, you can't compare what you do and what Chad does. That being said, I'm glad you don't either.

#2. Put me in the Curtis camp as well. As to having fun, that's Chad priority over football. How does that work for fans like you that want a SB ?

#3. BTW, Chad without Carson last year = garbage. Don't forget you can flip most coins.

#4. Getting old ?? You guys seem to keep coming to his defense. Don't you think that wearing thin on those of us that would have preferred the draft picks to currently having him on the team ??

So what's worse, a Chad-basher or a Douche-lover ??

I hate to drag this out, and I'm actually pretty critical about Chad's antics, but I try to be fair with everyone.

That said, I think too much negative attention is pointed toward Chad when there are much bigger issues for the team. Also, it's frankly annoying to see the same pointless discussions on SportsNation (can someone explain this 'Cheers and Jeers' to me?) as I see on here. I don't like discussing Chad's dance skills. I would rather discuss the fact that he still runs great routes and works hard in the offseason, even if it's not with the team. And he will still do good stuff for the offense this year, and that's fair.

Hey, maybe Mike Brown likes having him around to deflect attention from the fact that his team can't win when they need to due to his stingy habits and lack of anything that could be recognized as football IQ. Chad is a small issue in the grand scheme of things.

Let me know how you feel about said crucifixion later in the season, when his ypc average is down, his drops are up, and hes still out of shape....all of which could have been better had he focused on team and not on prancing princess Chadita

Say what you will, but the one thing you can't really accuse Chad of, is ever being out of shape. The guy hits the gym harder than damn near anyone, and takes care of himself. While I think being on Dancing With The Stars is a big mistake, I think it might actually help him to be in even better shape.....Lots of Cardio, sweating, and maybe even get him more nimble.....Besides, how long do you think he'll be on there anyways? A month?

That might be a good Poll.....How long before The Ocho gets voted off?

I get where you are going with this and for the most part I try not to get caught up in these Chad conversations, because they are always the same. Here's been my stance for quite some time now. If Chad helps this team win, then great. I just don't see him doing that at this point in time and I feel frustrated with him and it baffles me how others can stand by and not think twice of it. It's not just Chad being Chad. It's him being a complete tool bag, f*ckhead, who seems focused on everything except making this team a winner.

Chad maybe a small issue, but the WR corps is getting older, he's basically on the last year of his contract, and it's going to be a much bigger issue sooner rather than later. If Chad is going to be part of a winner on this team, it's either coming this season, or he's done. For the record, I'm still missing those picks...

Translation: Chad (and by extension everyone) is permitted to any damn thing they want whether it undermines the team or not as long as any one other person is doing something they should not be

Bottom line: please, no one tell futurebengal08 that there are people who rape, murder, and commit other such atrocities else there, else he gets it in his head that since others do it, it is ok for him to do it too.

Shhhhhhh...............

Haha I hate being shushed. Worst feeling in the world.

Ok, I knew this would get out of hand which is one of the reasons I choose not to talk about Chad that often. I never get anything good out of it.

And maybe you're right... if Chad was gone I would get to enjoy his silliness while not discussing how it hurts the team I love.

I guess I'm starting to miss those draft picks too...

Wait until you get your prostrate checked for the first time. You'll giggle at getting shushed.

Everyone has to remember here that Chad Ocho Cinco was a Pro Bowler last year.

So was David Gerrard. And Derrick Anderson was a Pro Bowler(in years past).

My Point? Not sure there is one.......

Oh - Welcome FB08. Not a lot of Chad lovers around here. If you have noticed.

Im glad we are addressing WR in this offseason so that all the focus isnt on one receiver. Even if that one receiver does want all the focus.

My thing with Chad is Shut UP and focus. He is doing the opposite lately so Im starting to get concerned.

Hopefully Chads girls on the VH1 show wont crap themselves like one did for Flava Flav.

My Dish programming doesnt include VH1...Shucks :P

Had a few more players dropped from the Pro Bowl, I believe one of the wideouts from agreen's semi-pro team was next up for the honor, and after that, my dead gramma.
