Ocho Dancer

I'm afraid you and Chad are starting to give poor Mr. Bojangles a bad name.

It could be worse. By all accounts I sing far better with my fingertips than with my voice.

BTW, the dance pairings for the competition have just been announced and Chad has been matched up with Brook Burke. I'll have more to say on that later, after my erection subsides.

This can do nothin but keep him in shape... VIVA OCHO!

You do understand the difference between being in shape enough to dance, and being in football shape plus working on your timing with your teammates - don't you?

I guess not

F*ck Chad....the sooner he is gone from this team, the better

hard to disagree.

let's put it this way. if any of you think that by being part of this carnival act Chad will figure out a way to make plays while being covered by Revis, raise you hand...

that's what i thought.

it's a trite expression

but.....bottom line, fellas......

he is a "me" guy in a "team" sport.

period

I want a good team, not a good (if you can still call him that) single player

I can't wait to be rid of his worthless, divisive, selfish, overpaid, lying, golly-shucks-I-guess-revis-is-better-than-I-thought ass

This guys aging mother likes the idea....making me wonder how my own MomOnFire might feel about it. (For the record, she prefers Letterman over Leno.)

Chad Ochocinco gives up $250k to dance with stars

By MJD

Most NFL players get a bonus if they choose to complete their team's offseason conditioning program. The programs aren't mandatory, but most contracts make it worth it for a guy to show up. In Chad Ochocinco's case, he would get an extra $250,000 to show up and work out.

Instead, while the rest of the Bengals are sweating in the weight room, Ochocinco will be shaking it on "Dancing With the Stars."

If I were in his shoes, I'd probably do the same thing. By appearing on the dancing show, The Ocho gives himself a chance to go from "famous among football fans" to "famous among everybody," and that's worth a lot of money.

If he's likable and sticks around for a while in the competition (and I expect that he will), in the long run, it'll be worth way more than $250,000 for him. All kinds of new endorsements and appearances will open up to him. For whatever the reason, this is just one of those shows that captivates America. My mother still adores Jason Taylor, and I doubt she could even tell me what team he plays of.

Seriously, I don't care if Chad dances or doesn't dance. I don't care if he goes on talk shows, does music videos, or decides to go streaking through the streets of downtown like Frank the Tank.

Fair enough. Now let me ask you a question.

Will you care if he skips all of the voluntary OTA's?

Obviously, the reason I ask the above is because this would be the 3rd year in a row Chad has blown off those workouts AND as I recall....you were so enraged when TJ started skipping them that you never forgave him.

I'm sure you read the rest of my post after the part you highlighted which went on to say if Chad can't do what he needs to do, helping this team win, then I chalk it up to him being the douche I already know he is. In other words, sure it pisses me off. I've just gotten to a point where I simply don't care about anything with him. I would really prefer he not be a part of this team. I don't care what he may or may not have done in the past and I don't care if we were to take a hit not having him on the roster and I don't honestly believe that anymore either.

As for TJ, I will be the first to admit that I was pissed off in the past, but will also say at the time I really thought he was a team first guy at the time as opposed to the first rate prick he turned out to be. I simply didn't expect it from him then.

I think my disdain for Chad in past posts speaks enough and all of that still remains. I'm just not as vocal anymore.
