icehole3
For one he reaches to much when drafting and I really have lost a ton of confidence in his abilities to coordinate in the last few years, also I dont trust Hayes working with Gresham if he was to be drafted, I trust Zimmer, give him the pick and give Brat round
Kazkal
Kinda Annoyed me Hobsons response how we """HAVE"""" to get Carson weapons in round one,It's like EH Find best player no point in taking Inferior talent if you can still get him solid weapons in rnds 2 & 3...But ya I don't Trust Brat Nor do I trust Sheppard who had turned one of the best WR corps in to one of the Worst... BengalByTheBay
Nor do I trust Sheppard who had turned one of the best WR corps in to one of the Worst...Really? He lost his slot receiver and Chris Henry died last year. You're gonna pin those on the WR coach? I'm also relatively certain it's not his fault that Coles forgot how to catch. kingwilly
Why don't we just let Carson pick who he wants to throw to? I trust his judgement.

I trust his judgement.I would have Carson in the Bengals "War Room" lmfao...I'm sorry, that's just too funny, Bengals "War Room"....but seriously, I would consult Carson on any decision, and definitely get his input. The role was quite limited. Chad's production was well above 2008, so you're comparing to 2007? Chad and Coles are both veteran receivers, so there not much to put on a coach there. Caldwell is getting a pretty bad rap IMO in that he was clutch earlier in the season. Other than the fumble vs. the Jets he had a relatively decent season. Cosby was a PR turning in WR duty late in the season based on injuries. He had a few nice catches and looks to be developing pretty well for somebody who was not primarily a WR. The best argument against coaching that you have is Simpson. That one is a mystery to pretty much everybody, however, as he has seen the field as much as Chad as kicker. It's possible that his development has been bad due to Shepard, but it's pretty hard to say at this point. It's equally possible that he just cannot make the jump from small college ball to the NFL and was terribly over-drafted.

Brat is here whether we like it or not...not that I like it.
BengalPimp
here is some of Brats picks...2005, Eric GirlCheck, Adam Kieft, Tab PerryThat just makes a Bengals fan sigh.Honestly, Tab Perry was a great find in the 6th Round...Had he not suffered that hip injury, I believe he would be our #2 today, or even our starting TE (Remember they were planning to convert him to TE)He was never the same....I can still see him on that 94 yd kickoff return vs. Pittsburgh....carrying Ike Taylor on his back for like 25 yards... HairOnFire
BPA for what we need makes the most sense, offense or defense. That's all I ask. That if the BPA in one of the deepest drafts in decades is a defensive player...draft him. And if that's how things play out in the 2nd round...do it again. Don't go all David Verser on me. Again.
