dewaynesworld63
Fiance basically stated that she was driving and he jumped from the truck. She said she was driving fairly slow because he was in the back. She was asked, "Why didn't you just stop and pullover?" She replied there was nowhere to stop. She does not know why he jumped. She speculated "maybe he thought he could land properly or he was scared that the car behind them was calling the cops." The interviewer implied perhaps it was suicidal. She said he wouldn't, "He loved his children." According to authorities, investigation is still on going. The above are not direct quotes. Ickey44
Thanks for the heads up. I still think she bears some responsibility in all this. Regardless of what Chris did, it's not smart to drive around with someone in the bed of a truck. She obviously didn't feel threatened or she would've said so. Once you notice a human being has jumped inside the bed of your truck, you stop or pull over immediately. Should be the end of the discussion at that point. COB
Appoint a guarian ad litem for the kids. Then sue her for killing their Daddy. Preponderance of the evidence standard in the civil case, and you can introduce a bunch of testimony about how he was in a contract year and would have probably signed for 28 million or more, with probably 7 or 8 million signing bonus. Then hang the judgement on your wall and admire it. She's probably pretty judgement proof.

This is just coming out now? I'm sure people/family/etc. told her to say "he jumped out". That whole "nowhere to pull over" thing is PURE BULLSH*T ! When you get in an accident for example, do you look for a place to pull over? NO...YOU STOP, turn on your hazard lights, whatever you need to do, whether you're in the middle of the road or not. Like i said...I'm not buying her story.
rwjcgc
I'm sure she had no intent to cause bodily harm, just a very sad accident. Serves as a cautionary tale to poor judgement in the heat of an argument. Both share any blame to be assigned to this tragedy.

semiotter
I agree with what most of you guys are saying and agree that's a sad thing to happen to anyone. People do silly things when the are in the heat of a argument we all have been there. This is just a real bad outcome than most!
