jjakq27
Buffalo informed its staff that they are free to look elsewhere. The new coach will decide on keeping any holdovers should any still exist at that time. Interim coach Perry Fewell will interview later this week.http://www.buffalobi...40-c90e6496c7a1The Redskins fired Jim Zorn earlier todayhttp://nfl.fanhouse....ed-by-redskins/Meanwhile, Houston's owner stated that Gary Kubiak will return next year.http://nfl.fanhouse....y-will-be-back/This thread will eventually be moved to the NFL forum but for now I wanted to post it here since it may impact our staff next year. COB
Surely Al Davis will fire Cable, since the Raiders started playing better in the second half of the season. Cable looks like an inmate in an English prison.
Kazkal
Raiders should keep Cable when they got Avg QB play they won games vs good teams.

Maybe Davis will fire Cable and replace him with Russell since he owes him so much money still.

jjakq27
Former Bengals news:Ken Anderson retires in Pitt.KC boots DL coach Tim Krumrie.Good for Kenny. Always bothered me that he ended up in Pittsburgh. And that he never had the coaching success of many of the so-called Walsh coaching tree descendants. After all he was the guinea pig for Walsh back in the day. Good luck to him. He was one of my favorites along with Isaac Curtis as a youngster. And I thought I saw Krumrie on the sideline of the KC game on Sunday. Funny that there wasn't a bigger deal made of his return here two weeks ago. Kinda bouncing around it seems. Here, Buffalo and now KC. He was another of my all-time favorite Bengals players. jjakq27
Cowher to the Bills? John Fox to the Browns? crazyCan't understand that. I keep thinking that Cowher is going to end up in Carolina someday. I think he built a large house in that general area and his daughter plays volleyball at NC State. Always thought he was just waiting around until Fox got canned.
HAPPYJAQ
I wouldn't be surprised to see Kevin Coyle get a shot as a DC somewhere. His group has played well in just about every here since he's been here, and Hall and Joseph both have had breakout seasons of near Pro Bowl play. Somewhat surprised about Fewell. It also looks like he's going to be in the rare situation in which the Rooney rule backfires. It's laughable that Buffalo will fire this guy and his entire staff one day and call him a "head coach candidate" the next.

Ickey44
Weis is OC for the Chiefs, they better find some wrs.I think the Chiefs will be a contender next year. They finally found their running game. Cassel should be familiar with Weis' system. Chambers and Bowe at receiver? They just need some oline help to keep Cassel from getting "blowed" up. HairOnFire
Seems like the Seahawks are Targeting Pete Carrol That one has a far better chance now that Pete's star has fallen a bit. He's lost plenty of position coaches and coordinators over the last couple of years, the progam is being investigated again, the Pac-10 is suddenly competitive again, and to put it mildly....Carrol's reputation suffered badly this season due to more reasons than I would care to list.
