TJJackson
Football is football.. It's different levels, same game.Ok, everyone, let's switch this board over to semi-pro ball. They're exactly the same, and i bet it is a LOT cheaper to be a fan of a semi-pro teamSo - for the games I cannot attend, what channel are you guys on?And where can i get a gizzle jersey? Not a cheap knockoff, mind you, an official one.Still waiting on the game-day channel to watch the games on - hope you guys don't have a tv market blackout rule - and where can I get that jersey again? BengalByTheBay
I'm just saying man, he worries me.. The defense is great, I agree with that. But this offense HAS got to start putting up more points. You're starting to bring me around on this. Do you know, for example, that the Bengals have failed to score ANY points in the past 3 days. This has got to stop...errr, I mean start..?.. Did we cut Coles yet and sign Harrison?
DC_Bengals_Fan
Apparently we're now at the point where we indulge our concerns the Bengals may not rank amongst the truly elite teams in the NFL, and if we were realistic about it we'd admit this team only has a punchers chance at winning a championship. I'll take it.Better than about anybody expected in August. I recall being one of few people who thought they had a legit playoff shot. I also thought the O-line had a good chance of completely imploding leading to a 6 win season, but everybody knew that could go either way.I still think that if somebody figures out that blitz recognition is killing the passing game, that they could switch it on in time for the playoffs and kick some ass. HoosierCat
I think we've finally reached the crunchy center of things. Apparently we're now at the point where we indulge our concerns the Bengals may not rank amongst the truly elite teams in the NFL, and if we were realistic about it we'd admit this team only has a punchers chance at winning a championship. I'll take it.Exactly. They've done better than anyone could reasonably expect, and all that's left is to see if they can finish. Arguments can be made yay or nay. And bouncing those back and forth is why we're here. But damn, it beats the hell out of spending December talking about where we draft in April. derekshank
But damn, it beats the hell out of spending December talking about where we draft in April. No doubt. That said, I've always enjoyed draft talk. But it's way more difficult when you know you're not getting a top 10 pick. What a burden this is! derekshank
Hey TJ, I know I'm late to this party... but I'm actually in agreement with Gizzle on this. You've got to get the ball into the hands of your best player. And that of course means that they should be handing off to Benson more. HairOnFire
Less Chad. More Coles. In retrospect that should have read.... A lesser Chad. A lesser Coles.
