membengal
Time for someone else to pick up that ball. My streak ended after Houston, then Billy carried us aways. Time for the next game thread person to get us going again.
JohnsonX5
Why was Morgan Trent left all by himself when we knew the Raiders are going to throw down the field?Exactly. That's why I can't be too angry with Trent. How do you not have safety help on that play? Unbelieveable a guy can be single-covered that far down the field when all you need to do to win the game is prevent a touchdown.
SupaBran
Bubba Caldwell is still my boy b/c once a Gator always a Gator but the dude is straight garbage on kickoffs! While playing at Florida, I believe it was his Junior year, Caldwell broke his leg returning a kickoff and I believe he just doesn't have the courage to return kicks, plain and simple. To be a good return man you have to be decisive and run hard, which I believe Caldwell doesn't have the courage to do. The coaches put him back there b/c he has 4.3 speed but that's not what makes a good return man, IMO.

volcom69
Worst part is they had that game won. I think Zimmer just got alittle to comfortable with Trent back there. How can you leave a rookie man on man with there best catching WR without any kind of saftey help. Also Zimmer did not seem as aggresive with his play calling through out the game. Just think if J Joe would have intercepted that ball we would be talking about a sloppy win. So they had there chance to win just didnt happen. SupaBran
I'm done with this topic, time to move on to the Clowns but I will say that game was completely on the coaches! I've blamed coaches and play-calling in the past but that was completely them f**king up and not putting our players in position to succeed. The coaches need to change some things they're doing, obviously! I pray to little baby Jesus that we fire Brat and hire someone new next year. That bum hasn't done anything since 05' and is living off what he did in the past. Any other coach would be fired with what he has done the past 3-4 years.P.S. Is anyone else f**king sick of the Aints? They just out right stole Who Dey and changed it to Who Dat...
derekshank
P.S. Is anyone else f**king sick of the Aints? They just out right stole Who Dey and changed it to Who Dat... Who Dat actually pre-dates Who Dey. But Who Dey wasn't stolen from the Saints chant like many believe. It came from a local Cincy brew. membengal
Saints play the Patriots next Monday night, so, no, I am not done with them and will be pulling for them against NE.
walzav29
I watched the game again last night, and it's not like Oakland played some phenomenal game. Fumble, int's, missed FG's. We just played worst. Which is obvious. As for the game plan it was good. They were running the ball well, it was the horrendous execution. After Scotts 60 yard run they had so many chances inside the 10 and ended up wit hnothing. Palmer got sacked and fumbled at the Raider 30. Etc.... Yes we have to move on. agreen_112
You guys know I'm Chad's biggest supporter but gawsh damn you have to admit that Brat is not using him effectively. We come out in the first quarter and go to Chad. He absolutely abused the best Corner in the league and we got points out of those drives. Then, Brat magically decided to stop going to Chad? I don't get it. Get the ball to your best player Brat, WTF?I think all the injuries may be catching up to us... These next 3 games will be interesting. And Joe Pong, I agree with you. Our offense has some serious issues.

The run was working, too, but they could figure out how to score once they got to the redzone and some players inexplicably had butterfingers. HairOnFire
I'm done with this topic, time to move on to the Clowns but I will say that game was completely on the coaches! I put it on the players. I don't know why this team refuses to learn the lesson, but over the yaers I've heard Marvin Lewis warn the team about this very thing so often I know he's not the problem.
