wpeldios Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 That had to be one of the worst coaching decisions I have ever seen to go for that. And burning 2 timeouts beforehand was equally as mishandled. Lets go bye week. Quote
kevnz Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 really, did that happen? It's not some joke on the internet? So does this mean that Belicheck loses his "genius" label now? Please?! Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 16, 2009 Author Report Posted November 16, 2009 So does this mean that Belicheck loses his "genius" label now?Well if it's not gone, it certainly lost a great deal of it's luster. Quote
semiotter Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 Damn I fell asleep with the Pats kicking "Ass" and I see where they lost holy crap!! What the hell happened? Quote
Stripes Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 I didn't think it was a bad decision. The Patriots defense was playing awfully tired throughout the fourth quarter, and if Peyton got the ball back with nearly two minutes left he would have led the Colts right downfield and scored. Belichick knew that, so there was really no way he could just punt it away and pray for a lucky turnover.Rather, he went for the kill. A first down wins the game for New England, and an offense that good has a pretty darned good chance of converting it. Just a bad break. Quote
Pidge Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 I agree, that it didn't matter. Peyton would have driven them down the field for the score. Nice to see Peyton completely mindf**k the dirty cheating bastard though.Peyton owns Billy boy. He's nothing but Peyton's good time girl, his naughty little secret, his weekend fling. Quote
