TJ gettin some love on SI

Recommended Posts

T.J. Houshmandzadeh -- He's built a career on consistency, but this season Housh has been consistently mediocre. He's averaging just 48.3 yards per game, but according to him, Sunday's poor showing wasn't his fault since he was open all game. Whether that's true or not, Nate Burleson and John Carlson each had more targets than T.J. with Seneca Wallace at QB. If you start him and be bombs, it still won't be his fault, so just bench him and save yourself the heartache.

Clearly struggling out in Seattle...

This was from the "Start Who, Sit who Week 4" on sportsillustrated.cnn.com. Maybe he really was the cancer. How about the last two weeks TJ?? Hope you enjoyed them!

Who dey bitch!!!!!

I found myself in the Proshop of PBS this week. TJ's jerseys were $30.00. (Rudi's were $20.00)

Hopefully, someone with the Bengals will gather the ones they can't sell, and donate them to a homeless shelter in Seattle. That way Seattle fans can drive to the game, and enjoy an abundance of homeless crackheads and alcoholics, all wearing TJ jerseys. Then they can watch TJ catch 3 passes for 27 yards.

Put this s**t in the NFL category, TJ aint a Bengal anymore and never was as far as I'm concerned!

Everytime someone creates a TJ posting, I will simply respond with a hearty:

"f**k TJ!"

You just need to get over what TJ did.

Because I said so.

I told everyone TJ was going to bomb in Seattle and the Bengals were right now to pay him #1 reciever kind of money and it was seen as blasphemy to most of my peers. Looks like I was correct. TJ is and always has been a glorified number two reciever and you're seeing that in Seattle.

Slightly off topic but many years ago I watched a piece by NFL Films on what the NFL does with new but unusable promotional clothing. Long story cut short, they panned around a village somewhere in deepest darkest Afrika. Extreme poverty. Livestock wandering about. And children everywhere, most of them wearing gear proclaiming the Cincinnati Bengals as Super Bowl champions.

Funny or sad, I could never decide.

Speaking of SI, Hair's absolutely most-favoritist Cincinnati newspaper columnist announced today that he's will be writing a column for SI.com every Tuesday...I understand that there is no truth to the rumor it will be called "Dick-Shaped Crackers," tho.

Funny you should mention that. I spent some time this week searching for the Paul Daugherty article from this offseason where Doc opines about how everything is better in Cleveland precisely because that franchise cares enough to fire it's head coach.

Perhaps you remember it?

In any event I thought it would be a timely reminder and a good read. So I attempted to do a search on Bengalzone to find the thread where Daugherty's article had been discussed. Sadly, no luck. However, during my search I kept stumbling over links pointing me to my own muddled musings about....(wait for it)....Paul Daugherty and his odd habit of eating dick-shaped crackers.

Crazy stuff, right?

So anyways, I change tactics. I abandon my Bengalzone searching and attempt a google search using the words Paul+Daugherty+Cleveland. In return I get hundreds/thousands of links to follow. I quickly pick the one that seems most promising....and instantly found myself reading my own words about how Paul Daugherty does indeed eat dick-shaped crackers.

:lmao:
