gregstephens Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 John Clayton has an article up on espn.com on the ten teams that improved the most this offseason due to the draft and/or free agency. Of course Cincy isn't one of the teams, but that's another story.Put your pointer on the Bills logo and, under key additions, it lists one Levi Jones.Curious, aye? Considering the Bills website says nothing about it. Quote
whizzo Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 until there are multiple sources available, take it with a grain of salt. remember how we all got excited about the Bush/Ocho Cinco trade before the draft? that was just one source too... Quote
ArmyBengal Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 There was also an article about that on PFT, but there have been no official statements made.I don't really care where his ass goes, but for as bad as Detroit's o-line is, they apparently haven't given any thought to him. Quote
BengalPimp Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 Levi who? At this point, I could really care less. Quote
gregstephens Posted May 11, 2009 Author Report Posted May 11, 2009 Levi who? At this point, I could really care less.Apparently, so could the Bills. Have heard NOTHING more on this point. Quote
COB Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Gate E at Ralph Wilson Stadium needs a new turnstile, so yeah, Levi to the Bills makes sense. Quote
Kazkal Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 The player rep for free agent OT Levi Jones admitted Monday that his client may have to wait for the summer to sign with a team.Jones is recovering from extensive leg surgery and probably couldn't pass physicals. The Cardinals and Redskins have already denied any interest. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 "EXTENSIVE" leg surgery ?? Kind of makes you wonder huh ??To bad he won't be going back home like he wanted... Quote
Bearcat1975 Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 "EXTENSIVE" leg surgery ?? Kind of makes you wonder huh ??To bad he won't be going back home like he wanted... I think they meant "extensive minor leg bruise..." I was glad they released him but I would have tried to ink Smith first. Quote
BengalByTheBay Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Is it any wonder that people believe agents are full of s**t. Isn't this the same guy who said Levi was 100% like 2 weeks ago? In any event, it is completely clear that waiting to cut Levi in order to have some additional negotiating leverage with Smith would not have worked under the circumstances. It's kinda too bad when you consider that if he remained healthy Levi would've still been pretty close to his prime right now. Quote
