whizzo
you forgot OLB jeanty. beyond that, seems fairly reasonable. i like our depth, except at CB.
Wraith
No I didn't, I think he is gone.EDIT: I dropped Doss and replaced him with Jeanty but I don't think he sees the field this year barring injuries.
ArmyBengal
After the draft and seeing what some of the teams on our schedule did or didn't do, I'm now more confident in seeing our defense making big improvements that will show in the rankings. We don't play many offensive powerhouses, so I don't see how they won't move up in the standings.
TJJackson
I dont think they keep 6 safeties, and I am certain they will keep more than 4 corners
HoTbOy
Do you have LColes as the 3rd WR behind ACaldwell? I think that he would start over him, otherwise looks pretty good...I also think that LJones may be a goner...
Wraith
No, Coles is the #1 Y WR, while Caldwell only plays when they spread out in a 3 WR set playing the Z or slot position.
membengal
That's as deep a group (on paper) as they have had on defense in about 10 years. One more draft to finish addressing their LB situation and it is starting to get there.

Caldwell will be in the slot, not Coles
Wraith
First you maybe right but these thing tend to change in OTAs and Training Camp, I think Crummey has more talent than Cook and that Luigs has more talent than either.Second, It really doesn't matter there will be a rotation and they will all see good time.Third, as I explained earlier, Coles is the starter at Y, Caldwell is the starter at Z which means he will be in the slot. I wrote them as I see them on a depth chart, with the WR2 position being slot.
TJJackson
I think Andre Smith will be at RTI think Collins or Whitworth will man the LT spot, and I'd like to see Whit continue as LG, so I'll go with CollinsKooistra can play all OL spots except center, has played at RT several times when Willy has been hurtI *really* like that you have Bernard Scott flat out making the teamStill need another corner, tho - 5 is the mininum
JoePong
I think Benson and Scott are locks at RB.But I don't see the three RB as Benson, Scott, And Dorsey. Two of the three are small 3rd down type backs. If Benson goes down, yo don't have anyone to carry the load as an every down RB. Throw in the fact that Dorsey is always hurt...The need a guy who can be a workhorse if needed. Kind of like why they kept Rudi around whenthey had Corey. JoePong
Also, David Jones is the 3rd CB on this team. He played really well last year when forced to start and got better as the season went on. He is way above Castille. Trent has a shot as the #4 CB. And Jeanty will be on this team.I think Cook wil start at C.Collins starts at LT. Livings is the #1 backup at LG, not Kooistra.

Simeon Castille? - the man so slow that he needs to be timed by a sundial - the thought of this guy on any roster I cant believe. He better be goneDavid Jones at the other CB spot Sims start - no question- they all rotate anywayTank and Shirley ( if he is not cut)will be in more on pass downs I f Coffman can play he will startAt WR its - Coles - Henry and if Chad is there -dont be surprised if Simpson starts if Chad is gone or they may share one WR spot.Dont be shocked if Purify and Quan Cosby make the team-- they are both great- although I just dont think the coaches like Purify that much no matter how good he is. If you want an accurate depth chart I was just helping you out. It doesn't matter the rotation, but again. if you want an accurate depth chart then you need to list the starter first. Finally, in my experience the Z and X are listed as the number one and two on any depth chart and the Slot is listed as a backup, not the other way around

Wraith
Hell this this all for discussion sake anyway, My understanding is that the Z receiver is the slot guy, but I could be wrong if anyone wants to answer that definitively I will issue a mea culpa. HairOnFire
This time of the year always seems to bring some anger out in people, but please keep the personal attacks to a minimum. Fair enough, but isn't it sorta remarkable how much anger a Fed-Up can manage to secrete even after a draft that's better than their wildest dreams? In my most humble of opinions....(ahem).....Fed Ups are a pitiable bunch.
