kingwilly
Shut yer yapper and realize these are ELITE collegiate players, who are both immediate contributors.Gruden said Rey-Rey was his probable ROY.Smith was for a legit portion of the college season the overall #1 pick...If there are concerns, let them be worked on but these two represent high-value, high-productivity players who immediately make this team better. After years of silly picks (Perry/A. Smith/R. Wilson/Wilkinson) we nail one. r1 and r2 are in the books and I mark the stanza with an A.
volcom69
Well said both players can come in here and make an impact right away. Best 1st day draft ive seen in awhile.

Spor_tees
Wow Prisco hates the Bengals:Cincinnati Bengals select: Andre Smith, OT, AlabamaAnalysis: They loved this kid all along. He will step in and start at left tackle and let them keep Andrew Whitworth at left guard. Nice pick. B+How can you give them a B+ when they took a guy that was close to the best available player AND was a guy that fit team needs?Cincinnati Bengals select: Rey Maualuga, LB, Southern CaliforniaAnalysis: He's a two-down linebacker, which is why he's still on the board. The value here is OK. BAre you serious, a B? Yet he gives the Browns an A for drafting Brian Robiskie, who many thought was a 3rd or 4th rounder. Prisco go f%@K yourself..... ArmyBengal
Hard not to give this an "A". Maybe an "A-" for not taking the glaring need at Center when they had the chance, but the value of Maualuga trumps that.If we get Caldwell in the 3rd, it won't matter what they do for the remainder of the draft and they would still get an "A" for it !!! COB
Would someone please drive to whatever rich-person neighborhood Mike lives in, and untie him and release him from whatever room Marvin and Zimmer locked him in? Let him come to the office tomorrow and pick a 6th round pot-smoking reciever or a running back, just for old times' sake. Because there is no way this is a Mike Brown draft. It makes too much sense. It represents a fundamental understanding of NFC North football that Mike has never displayed.

Want to go back and read what he wrote about last year's draft....http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/10802077Alt Falcons....Matt Ryan was a questionable moveBalt Ravens....questionable move trading up to get Flacco....plus Brohm and Hennie were better optionsthere is more but that gives you idea......I will take what Gruden said about Maualuga over Prisco any day of the week.... bryce40
I'm loving this draft even though I wanted Unger with our 2nd rnd pick everything i've been reading is saying we got the best linebacker in the entire draft so that makes me ok with it.
