BengalByTheBay Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Good for him....tough life as a FT teams guy. That said, Hebert has played pretty well and stayed healthy this season. Hopefully, he can stabilize it a little by being around a few years. Quote
BengalPimp Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Kilmer would be a Bengal if he didnt get hurt, but what can you do? He showed promise, but the dude's never going to be anything more than a special teams guy, and a backup safety......yawn... Quote
cincy9275 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 he was of marvins many projects that never worked out, hmm go figure. Quote
TJJackson Posted January 20, 2009 Author Report Posted January 20, 2009 Well, some of us are big fans of "special" special team playersLike my main man ReggieFor extra credit, go look up the very first play of the 2005 Bengals season Quote
HAPPYJAQ Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 I also thought that Kilmer had the ability to be a "Special" Special Teams player. I still remember how everyone talked about what a world-class athlete he was. Hope this works out better for the 'Fins than Tab Perry did. While we're on the subject of Special Teams play, Kyries Hebert quietly had one of the best years in Bengals history in covering kicks, minus a few penalties. Quote

COB Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 I remember Chad waxing poetically about Kilmer's freakish athletic ability. He had just winessed some incredible windmill behind the head dunk Kilmer pulled off. That had really impressed Chad. Also impressive to Chad - anything shiny. Quote
