Ickey44 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Isn't Kabeer kinda of way past his prime? Quote
BengalszoneBilly Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Isn't Kabeer kinda of way past his prime?I feel past his prime is better than the players we have in their prime. Plus he might be able to teach a few players a thing or two. Quote
Ickey44 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I guess, but if you guys are expecting ol' Mikey to do something to improve the team..... Quote

Ickey44 Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I think the Sam Adams thing was that he went to the Pro Bowl the year before and he'd be a good addition. He had knee problems the entire time he was with us however, and getting players back on the field isn't exactly something the Bengals' medical staff is good at doing. Quote

My theory, you really gotta be careful picking up other teams' discards. There's usually a reason that person's been cut. Quote
membengal Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Old? Washed up?Why sure, that's exactly what the Bengals need to cure what ails them. Great idea. yeesh. Quote
7/11 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 he's not washed up. i'm pretty sure he had nearly 10 sacks last season...too lazy to look it up.the reason he was released was to make room for justin harrell (PUP list) and their run defense has been abysmal- kaboom gbanjo bolimia is strictly a pass-rusher (and still a good one), and he severely lacks in run support. membengal Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 As a response to those that want the guy. Seems less than ideal. Why the confusion? Quote
JaxonFord87 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I believe that he had knee surgery in may and had never really gotten back to old form with the packers. So being 31, coming off knee surgery...I'll pass. Quote
