Had a good feeling about him coming into the season. He seemed to take that other guy leaving a lot better once he found out that he was getting his position. I'd love it if he got this spot at the pro bowl as well.

Simmons really deserved this. He had his hand in 3 of the Seahawks 5 turnovers. I've always liked him and he is just getting better every game. Great job Brian!!!

Good for Brian Simmons. As I have alluded too in my Takeo Spikes rant, The Bengals have a better outside linebacker than they did last year. Simmons was a force in the Seahawks game, and has really been coming on the last few games as he gets the feel for the position, where as Spikes had a really good first game with the Bills and has faded since then. I can really see a probowl berth for him if the Bengals can continue to win games and he continues to improve (And wouldn't that just stick in the craw of TKO? His replacement makes the probowl and not him, but who knows about the Probowl voting ....)
