volcom69
Marvin must go every year this team plays with no emotion no heart if this team falls behind or something bad happens to them its like they have no idea what to do. Marvin has no idea how to adjust at halftime and unitl this team gets a HC who knows how to coach better then what this team has it will be .500 or below. kevinc1129
The schemes suck, but so does the execution...you can't blame Brat for that. That's what happens when your starters don't even see each other on the field during preseason. Just a pitiful effort all the way around. There's enough blame to go around for everyone, not just the coaching staff.
volcom69
Thats true but can you tell me after the 2005 season that Marvin lewis actully has control of this team if you ask me this team walks up and down on him and its like he just lets them, i just dont think hes the right coach for this team. A lot of it is the coaching, but the players should be held accountable also.
mgilgris
As long as we have thorton and dhani jones starting on our defense we will be horrible. I really dont think that Marvin and Co are smart enough to be leading this team.

chrishcovga
Bill Cowher !!I want a winner. I'm tired of this... !I'm watching the Cowboys game and I realized something..... Even though they (Cowboys) haven't won a playoff game in 12 years, In the same time that We've been under Mike Browns' ownership, (17 years) the Cowboys have won 3 Superbowls, which is still 3 times as many "WINNING SEASONS" thanwe've had in the same time span!!Rob Schneider said it best........ Waterboy '98OH NO !! WE SUCK AGAIN !!!
bnglsboi8532
The only thing I will say is this shi* that the offense calls a gameplan is nothing less than predictable! I called the shovel pass before it happened and on that 4th and 1 in the fourth quarter I would have been surprised if we got it! The Ravens are men up front and our O-Line got manhandled! Its close to having to rebuild.
Bengal Dave
I may be new here but I am a vet at taking these Bengal losses. I want Brat and Marvin outta here. This is what? Year six of Lewis and ZERO playoff WINS. I also hope Mike Brown chokes on his prune juice tonight. I am tired of year in and year out of this bull crap. kevinc1129
As long as Mike Brown owns (and runs) this team, Lewis is the closest thing to a real coach as we will ever see. There is no way Cowher or anyone else who is credible would ever work for him.
membengal
Huh. So maybe the pre-season does matter, a little? That just looked like an extension of what we have seen for a month now. I shudder to think how bad it has been in practice.
walzav29
I put alot of the blame on CJ and TJ. They have reached suck a level of arrogance that they thought they could just walk in and pick up where they left off. They look out of shape and the offense hasn't looked this bad in a while. I can only think that they are going to get in sync. UGLY. Bring in Shaun Alexander

Again, as far as Alexander goes, it doesn't matter if we have Barry Sanders back there. If the O-line can't block, no running back can gain yards. HoTbOy
Why is is that the O coordinators for Dallas and the Patriots throw to thier PB WR's in double coverage but ours won't even take the chance to maybe get a penalty or something...What other team runs the same O as we do, is their a name for the O we run(ex.West Coast)... Without an offensive live, this team is going NO WHERE! When we franchised the dancing bear, we basically threw our money down the s**tter.Bend over and grab 'em fella's. We're going to take it up the poop chute this year!
cincyhokie
I could have sworn that I remember Palmer saying something in the offseason about "changes in the coaching staff" needing to be made. Yeah, CP knows that Brat's time is done and that the playcalling is stale and figured out. Brat needed to go after last year...and unfortunately we can chalk up another losing season and another underachieving season for this offense as the window of opportunity continues to rapidly close...if it hasn't done so already. Sad.

Sad.I read recently that Boomer Esiason expected a bad year from the Bengals, I guess he is right. Carson will be well paid to play for the Bengals, but he won't have any accomplishments he craves to show for it. He's in a program that craves mediocrity and fans gullible enough to buy season tickets. The crazy thing is even if the fans of Cincinnati lost interest in the Bengals, there would be a few cities willing to richly line Mike Brown's pockets to move the team. He wins no matter what. agreen_112
We can scream "Fire Brat" all we want, but it will not change anything... The problem here is a lot deeper than the offensive cordinator. I'm sure if this becomes a losing season, he's done. Basically he'll be the 2008 scapegoat like Bresh in '07 but the real problem starts at the TOP! Fire Brat, fire Marv, fire Alexander, fire them all, it won't change a got DAMN thing as long as Mike Brown is still the owner.
