rishipatel
Ed Reed out for season openerPFT is reporting that Ed Reed won't play in the game against the Bengals due to his nerve injury. It's good for the bengals that he won't play, but unfortunate that it has to be for this reason. I hope the guy is able to heal and get healthy. It wasn't too long ago that he was one of the best players in the game. Sounds like his injury could've been much worse though.
HoosierCat
It also looks like Joe Flacco will start. Troy Smith has "swollen tonsils."
ArmyBengal
Here's to hoping the defense doesn't make Flacco look "All World" in his first NFL start...WHODEY !!!
TJJackson
You realize, of course, that this is what the Bengals defense traditionally does - make pedestrian or unknown offensive players into stars

BengalszoneBilly
They also signed Joey Harrington.... I thought for sure they'd go after Chris Sims.
HoosierCat
Appears the Harrington report was premature. He's in the running but apparently they have yet to make a move.
