Spor_tees
ya and Perry does his job, doesnt bitch about his injury, stays out of trouble, and just performs no matter WHEN he hits the field since hes been signed. WTF do you have an issue with?Production my brother.... My issue is production. I don't care if he bitches or not, because he doesn't contribute. If that changes... good. But don't get mad at me because I'm unsatisfied with a 1st round pick that in 4 seasons has under 800 yards from scrimmage.go bitch at Pollack then. you have a terrible outlook on life and a very bad football IQ if that is the real reason that you have for your issues. Klinger - Terrible first round pickCarter - terrible first round pick, same amount of injuries, but when he hit the field no production.Perry Produces when he hits the field. EVERYTIME.Stop and back up your words with facts brother. Yes in 2005 Perry almost broke James Brooks record for receptions in a year by a RB...problem is his YPC was almost 2 yards less per than Brooks record season. Receptions are over rated as a stat really. I'd take a guy with 5 catches per game for 100 yards anytime over a guy with 10 catches for 50 yards. Fact is Perry has looked good in this game so far...but like I said before, it's preseason.
derekshank
Perry Produces when he hits the field. EVERYTIME.You're going to go on a rant about how great Perry is, question my football IQ, and then make a statement like that? Ok. I'm just not going to read your posts anymore. It's a waste of my time. You can respond if you like... but I won't know - and I'll be blissfully happy.

WTF do you have an issue with?Simply his long history of injuries.Tell me how you can stop getting injuried in a contact sport like football? INJURIES are part of the game. its not HIS fault he got injuried. I dont hear anyone complaining about Pollack. Now that was a 1st round injury bust if u wanna have no heart. no one should complain about a guy getting injuried. you should complain about your luck or your teams luck, but it has nothing at all whatsoever to do with that person that got injured.what a bust that guy was that broke his neck on the Bills....what a joke. One could point out that he has worked hard to come back from this injury and train hard to play well this year...his contract year! Go figure. What is your definition of production? just because your definition may be different than mine, which it obviously is, doesn't mean my statement was wrong. i would say chad produces every time just by stepping on the field and taking double teams, even if he gets 2 catches for 12 yards at times. Spor_tees
Still yet has the announcers mentioned Rivers name ONCE! Amazing a first round top ten pick on this Bengals defense is in the game for at least a full quarter and can't get any props? He missed one tackle so far but he still held the guy up long enough for help to show up. He has been the best tackler other than that so far on defense in this game. combatbengal
I know it's preseason, but I have one word already, horrible! Def still can't tackle, can't cover WR's. Chad is already frustrated. It's going ot be a long season.

jjakq27
At this point in this matchup I want to see Cincinnati start really pounding out the running game,I am interesting in seeing the new RB (James Johnson?) get some reps. I have read some nice things about him so far in camp.I will also be watching for FB Bradley Glatthaar (#37). He played locally at Elder HS and UC. I'd like to see him get some serious reps. HoosierCat
The thing I liked most about tonight was that Marvin kept the ones in on offense into the second quarter because they were sucking.I don't think I've ever seen first-stringers playing into Q2 in the first preseason game, at least not recently. And last year it wasn't until the third game IIRC that Marvin got on 'em.The D was what I expected. More aggressive, looking to hit, but making some mistakes. The tackling is a perennial issue.
