agreen_112
Can't wait to see Perry back healthy. The guy will be a horse.
BengalPimp
I find it very, very discouraging that they are counting on Two Carry Perry for anything except another season-ending injuryThis might be the year he shuts you up.......watch out....... BengalszoneBilly
This might be the year he shuts you up.This also might be the year I hit the lottery. Odds look even to me.
kurgan74
Per the USA Today, Irons cleared waivers. Look for the Bengals to re-sign him then put him on the IR.
membengal
According to C. Trent, he is re-signed.
redsbengalsbucks
Glad to see that this plan worked out, I still think Irons will be a good RB.
BengalPappaw
I Agree!
TJJackson
Not really re-signed - rather - auto-reverted back to the team since no one claimed him and placed on PUP
HairOnFire
Just a clever roster move?Or nothing more than a little light housekeeping? Well, no, probably not. From BengalButch, posted at GoBengals... "Not to be Debbie Downer but I talked with Jim Lippincott for a long time tonight and he said Kenny has had 6 surgeries on the knee and he has a condition that his body creates far more scar tissue than a normal person and he may never play again. He said we are keeping rights to him and letting him rehab in the Bengals facilities, but most team would have already given up on him." And FWIW, according to the source Lippincott also acknowledged that DeDe Dorsey is little more than a player with a 50/50 shot of making the 53-man roster. membengal
Thanks for the info, hair. I figured Dorsey was odd man out given his injury and Perry and Rudi apparently back to health.Nice of the Bengals to let Irons continue to rehab with the team, if they have indeed given up on him health-wise. Ickey44
Does anyone think that maybe we should hold on to Dorsey and maybe try him as either a PR or KR? The guy can fly and I think maybe he should get a shot at that. Chatman certainly hasn't impressed me with his return abilities when healthy and apparently the Bengals are looking for a new KR as well even though Holt did a pretty good job last year. ArmyBengal
Well rather it be Dorsey or someone else, I'm sure they will run everyone they think could handle it through the drills. I will say that this is something else that needs to improve...WHODEY !!!
