derekshank Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 How about Kevin Smith... UCF RB with the next pick.Detroit took him in the 3rd.Damn. No wonder I thought it would be a steal
derekshank Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 What about Allen Patrick from Oklahoma. I like his potential... and he's not taken the kind of beating that Hart has in college.
Spor_tees Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 One thing about this draft that is not typical of most Bengals drafts, they have selected a lot of small school players...App. St., Fresno St., Coastal Carolina? They have yet to take a Big ten player...so expect Mike Hart or J. Lehman soon!
Spor_tees Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 What about Allen Patrick from Oklahoma. I like his potential... and he's not taken the kind of beating that Hart has in college.I like him as well because he was good enough to get to Oklahoma but was unfortunate enough to get stuck behind Adrian Peterson most of his career. His body shouldn't have taken much wear and tear...but the same can also be said for Chauncey Washington and being a USC RB I think he would get the edge.
kingwilly Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I officially begin lobbying for Tony Temple....Check it....dude is a STEAL in r6/7. take him now!http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/...raftyear%3d2008
mgilgris Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Ideas on Erin Henderson or Woodyard from UK? I remember Woodyard having a good Combine.
Spor_tees Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 anyone else notice that the Colts have 4 of the last 12 picks in this round?
BTG Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Honestly, if they don't go for Hart or CW, I wouldn't mind seeing that Woodhead kid from Chadron State be given a shot in the 7th.
alleycat Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 actually, cory boyd wouldn't be bad. another character risk to set the board on fire (though seems to have turned things around), but he's a good runner. after the top guys I liked forte, parmele, and boyd. all have similar styles, are 220 lbs, and can move.
mgilgris Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I am no fan of michigan but i wouldnt mind seeing Hart get a chance here.
HoosierCat Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I would bet on CB with the next pick. Maybe TE.
kingwilly Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I would bet on CB with the next pick. Maybe TE.CB highly likely. who do you like?TE, maybe. Joey Haynos is still out there
HoosierCat Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I would bet on CB with the next pick. Maybe TE.CB highly likely. who do you like?TE, maybe. Joey Haynos is still out thereI don't even know who's left. At this point we're talking about projects anyhow.
coupdayta Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I think Mike Hart would make sense here. We've got Rudi on the downside of his career, two injured backs in Irons and Perry, a journeyman of sorts in Dorsey, and really IMO only one solid dependable back in Watson. Despite having 5 RBs on this roster, we need more. :-\ Also, I'm in favor of cutting Chrissy Perry at this point.
ArmyBengal Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Posted April 27, 2008 I'm kinda glad Hart is gone, because something tells me he has been beat up in Michigan with all the carries he got there...WHODEY !!!
Pidge Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 Chauncey Washington if he falls to us? Another project at centre maybe?
ArmyBengal Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Posted April 27, 2008 Moving this to the pick thread...WHODEY !!!
