HoosierCat
Ridiculous. Chad and Palmer barking at each other has nothing to do with Schefter's speculation about contract issues being the real reason behind Chad's attempts to force a trade. What attempts? You mean all that month-plus old stuff that was resolved with Chad said he'd be playing in Cincy and the Bengals saying there would be no trade? Why is this being raised in the context of the Arizona Cardinals?Oh, right: pick, pick, pick. Never mind there's no trade. never mind Chad said he'd be back. Goes against the grain of what the media has already decided the story is. Ignore Chad. Ignore the Bengals. Speculate. Monger rumors. That's how the media game is played.
HairOnFire
Why is this being raised in the context of the Arizona Cardinals?. For the very same reasons you have when you announce whatever free agent just signed with whichever team for how many buttloads of cash. Oh, right: pick, pick, pick. More like peck, peck, peck.....as in a pecking order. It's a concept you're well aware of, and the only reason anyone might assume Chad wouldn't have a problem with his new place in that order is if he had a long standing reputation for making level headed, unemotional, and completely professional decisions over the course of his career. bryce40
I actually like Chad; even his wild antics on the field (after TD's etc.) What I don't like yelling matches with his QB, coaches, etc. on the sideline. How's it always someone else's fault? I really hope he doesn't throw a fit over Fitzgerald's contract. Would show me his a little more mature than most of us on this board give him credit for being. I'll even say he had a point in throwing a fit this offseason. In every interview I heard him in, he said the rumors had to come from somewhere about him being traded or him being the reason they didn't succeed last year. If a player's in your organization you don't make them out to be the bad guy.
