When will Odell be reinstated?

The Bengals have been oddly silent on whether or not he has taken advantage of his newly permitted access to trainers and facilities.....we know he can work out and receive treatment and all, but what we don't know is if he HAS been doing so.

I don't know that it's odd, necessarily. They may think it's in Odell's best interest to lay low before his hearing (or whatever). They may not want to get the fans' hopes up. Also, they may have enough going on with the Chad mess that Odell's off the radar.

Or, it's possible that he blew them off, or showed up in a condition that suggests he won't be playing any useful football. But I don't think we can read the tea leaves (or lack thereof) to distinguish which it is.

Is he still under contract wiht the Bengals? If so for how long? Here is a crazy thought with all the talks going on. Franchise tags goes to Thurman. Not. Oh yea, I post this a few weeks ago. Chad isn't going anywhere!

His years on suspension don't count towards fulfilling his contract. The Bengals own him for 4 more years if he's reinstated.

He's just got a couple of beers to finish, drop Goodell home, smoke a blunt and then he'll be right there at training camp! :D

I can't wait to see him back on the field, he's one of my favorite Bengals players. You guys can have Chad, Odell's the MAN!!!

Here's a clip from the latest article posted on Bengals.com:

"If he can continue on this road, it's a big, big story"

"He's doing well; he's working extremely hard," Lewis said. "He's still got some hurdles to cross with league requirements and the opportunity to be reinstated and the opportunity to win a job. This has been very good for him. A good, positive step. It gives him something to hang his hat on, something to look forward to. It gives him the chance to take the steps to being accountable." - Coach Marvin Lewis
