Great Blue North came out with a 2007 season-end rookie report

http://www.gbnreport.com/rookiegrades.html

We came out well

1) Chinny was named top rookie drafted in the 7th round, and an honorable mention under the top 10 defensive rookies

2) TE Daniel Coats was in the top ten undrafted rookies

3) Leon Hall was named as one of the top ten defensive rookies

4) Our overall rookie class was rated B+

A closer look....

Leon Hall not only ranked in the top ten....at #7, but five of the players ranked higher than him were off the board when the Bengals drafted.

Daniel Coats was the 5th highest ranked UDFA.

Ndukwe was not only ranked as the best 7th round pick, but in the top ten defensive rookie rankings he was on of 8 players to recieve an honorable mention. Of those seven players, five were 1st round draft picks. The remaining two were 2nd rounders.

Only seven teams were given draft grades higher than the Bengals, and none of the higher ranked teams lost a high draft pick to injury. Obviously the Bengals would have fared even better had they not lost their 2nd round pick in preseason.

Just saying....

Yeah, and this is the same guy who gave the Bengals 2002 draft just one letter grade lower, praising the picks of Thompson, Manuel and Schobel while knocking the Levi selection for value reasons.

First-year draft grades are almost as useless as those you see in the days immediately after the draft.

Just sayin...

Wait a sec.....Hair has all positive things to say, and Joisy has all negative things to say........

Is this opposites day? I musta missed the announcement.

No, that's about par for the course. Where have you been for the last 4 years?

Agreed.

While I may at times be insulting, abusive, arrogant, or dismissive...(ahem)....one thing I can rarely be called is negative.

That you did. Later Hair will make a post defaming Mike Brown and Hoosier will counter that in his defense. :P

Hair, shaking head from side to side...

"Well kids, I don't want to get off on a rant here, but what makes Mike Brown qualified to run an NFL team? Seriously, Mike Brown's career peaked as a sperm. In fact, he's been slipping and sliding down the slippery slope from the morning he penetrated the egg. Yeah baby."

As well as self appreciating and boastful (in a fantastical sort of way).
