walzav29
Chris Perry is going to go on PUP for 3 more games. Why not put him on IR and bring in a VETERAN linebacker? Are we hoping for 2 carry Perry to save our 2-8 Bengals? This is driving me nuts. The team needs a GM and more scouts to provide better depth. I know we suck, but there sure seems like some winnable games on this schedule. This team has quit on Marv or gotten away from him. What's the difference? They suck either way. volcom69
Theres alot thats driving me nuts right now, but i really dont think anybody out there is going to help this defense at all. I agree though with Perry im not sure whats up with him and i really wanna know whats up with Brooks. I just hope someway somehow Marvin can get this team ready to play. This whole year is driving me nuts, but as we say every year there allways next year i guess.

mgilgris
Why keep him on the pup instead of adding players. Why not IR Perry from the beginning before he rushes to get back again and again gets hurt. I know we have been paying him for doing nothing, but rushing him back for games which are almost meaningless at this point is just as bad. I dont want to say that packing it in at this point is a good thing, but why risk rushing him back at all this season after his past record. Mike Brown is to cheap to try to add another free agent at this point. He is still counting his money from the sellout crowds to know what the Bengals record is anyway. Scott
What difference does it make. Perry isn't taking up a roster spot.

BigBenBlows
What difference does it make about this season, a wild card spot will NOT come out of this division anyway.

Carry on.Yeah, he actually looks to be out for 4 more weeks if they can stretch his PUP status out past next Sunday (which by my count they can). akiliklingler
Where is Ahmad Brooks? How bad is his groin injury? He hasn't played since the first game. He played well that game and has since done a wonderful impression of Frostee Rucker. If the guy's hurt, he's hurt. At least come out and say, Brooks has a significant injury and could be out the majority of the season, don't just wait till each Friday and say, oh he's still hurt and can't play. The D looked a lot different in the game he did play in, but I don't know if that's just a coincidence. However, even if this season's a wash, hopefully he gets back in there soon, so we don't start next season with a guy in his third year who's basically a rookie. We need stability at the MLB!!! CJBestInAFC
You all watch when they announce Brook's two pulled groins are now torn. I kind of want the Bengals to finish poorly to ensure them of a top 10 draft pick this offseason. They need as much help as they can get because they get nothing in FA. Sam Adams was not a good FA acquisition for the Bengals. I like Myers, but he too is on the downside of his career. Why can't they ever bring in a game changer instead of washed up veterans? I don't think it is Mike Brown being cheap because they consistently over pay for washed up veterans.
oldschooler
What difference does it make. Perry isn't taking up a roster spot. That`s what I was about to say.When/if Perry comes off PUP, they`ll have to cutsomeone to make a spot for him. He isn`t keepingthem from adding a veteran LB now. The fact thatthere isn`t any veteran LB`s worth adding is what`skeeping them from adding a veteran LB . . .
ShulaSteakhouse
Hell the Bengals' only put 10 players out on defense in big games any ways, so what's the difference? They run such a tight ship down at PBS they don't even need additional players.
HairOnFire
What difference does it make. Perry isn't taking up a roster spot. Exactly, but facts have no place here. In reality the Bengals are stashing Perry on the PUP list as long as possible so they can keep another healthier player on their roster as long as possible/needed. But that reality isn't as attractive to a lathered up fan base as the latest Mike Brown conspiracy theory, and it doesn't matter one bit to a conspiracy dink that their rant is entirely crafted out of warm crap. walzav29
Hell add Hartwell, Arrington, Jack Lambert for all I care. Pull out everything you can. This team is so poorly ran. HairOnFire
You all watch when they announce Brook's two pulled groins are now torn. For whatever it might be worth, they've already announced that Brooks reinjured his groin prior to the Patriot game. How it occured, and how great a setback resulted, would be interesting...(I've heard two versisons, both from unreliable sources)...but I'm pretty sure the Bengals can't comment on Brooks condition in any detail unless he gives them permission. walzav29
Can he be used as an example then? Is Brooks taking up a roster spot?
HairOnFire
Can he be used as an example then? Is Brooks taking up a roster spot? Yeah, Brooks is taking up a roster spot and he could be used in a "Mike Brown is too cheap to sign another player" rant just as quickly as you're willing to end Brooks season by putting him on IR. Were you willing to make that call in week 2, when Brooks was injured? Keep in mind that were 14 weeks left in the season. Or were you willing to make that call in week 4, when it was first reported Brooks was reinjured? Keep in mind that were still 12 weeks left in the season. Or are you finally willing to make that call now, in week 9? Keep in mind that are still 9 weeks left in the season, and putting Brooks on IR means you'll start next season knowing as little about his abillity to play as when this season began. Just saying...
