GregCook
I'll start. Fire him now, give me Donnie Henderson Monday morning.SlugBurg only scored 3 points in the second half. Offense left at least 11 points behind. I'd say you are shooting the wrong guy today. Or you need to shoot more guys today.

And giving up twenty three points in the first half is a good enough place to start.
kingwilly
yes, 3 in the second half.how about the 51 to the Browns?or the amazing break gowns in coverages since pre-season that everyone dismissed?or the 211 points given up, only exceeded by two 0-8 teams?Sorry, the 3 points in the second half tells me the talent is there but the scheme/coaching is not.Bres gots to go.Give me Henderson until we can lure Pellini here from LSU. membengal
Or the 21 in the first half against the Steelers?Or for the second straight week watching helplessly as the opposing team mowed down the field for a late first half touchdown?Or 10 men on the field in the red zone?Or an inability to tackle?Or finish off sacks?Or cover?Seriously, what more rope does Bresnahan and Lewis need? Jet23
Yeah, fire Bresh. And in 2 years fire Marvin. Meanwhile the real problem gets a 3 year reprieve from criticism. For Marvin's sake, I hope he quits stating that there is no way in he!! he can win here. I would also love it if someone like Bill Cowher states publicly that there is no way he would take the Cincy job due to Mike Brown. Let's face it, SOP is getting filthy rich on the backs of the Cincinnati sheep that continue to show up every Sunday for their weekly kick in the grapes. Real teams hire scouts to maximize their ability to evaluate talent. Mike Brown hires scouts as a means to give jobs to his family and friends. You can talk injuries all you want, but look no farther than the draft day failures. They gamble on problem guys, because they have no idea how to separate the good players from the bad. Name me one legit. draft day success and don't say TJ. He was scouted and drafted because he happened to be on the same team as CJ. The same damn reason Ron Dugans (P-Dub) was drafted. Marvin has no chance!

COB
Mike Brown hires scouts as a means to give jobs to his family and friends.I never thought about this, but it's true. John Cooper? Why? Cronyism is the only answer.

In the first half The offense only had the ball 3, count them, 3 times because the defense couldn't get off the field. Pittsburgh just kept chewing clock and chewing clock and our absolutely putrid defense couldn't do anything about it. Pittsburgh didn't need to score points, they just needed to eat clock and stay on the field. Not exactly a difficult task against this defense. Cowher was PAID to hate the Bengals. I agreed that you shouldn't get your hopes up, but there's been talk of him landing in so many places you just never know. One thing is for sure... he's going to want a ton of money and full control over the personel. Not many teams will be willing or able to meet those demands.
