To me it's even moreso the specific instances where he didn't (3rd and 1, 4th and goal, etc.).To me, actually, it is the general idea that Billick ought to have run more. Bottom line, when the opposition is going all out to stop your aerial game -- and doing so quite well -- you can't call 40 passes versus 25 runs, only 17 of which are by your new big-bucks feature back. This isn't to take anything away from the defense, they performed wonderfully. But it certainly didn't hurt that Billick declined to back off the pass on a night it clearly wasn't working. Quote
