Goodell

SO how long will it be before Goodell suspends Coach Reid from Philly for his sons' actions? Drug charges and now a DUI.

Sounds like if you can't control your son how could you control 53 kids with millions of dollars?

You're really stretching it here, don't you think El_Danimal? All incidents and people directly involved there are outside the NFL. Reid just happens to be the dumba**es father.

How far away are we from this really though? It's obvious that there are no guidelines that Goodell goes by and that the NFLPA isn't stopping him from punishing players "at will".

So what's next? This seems like his next step.

I'm trying not to be hypnotized by Billy's avatar, but this is what I'm pondering about Goodell.

1. Knowing that he replaced the Commissioner of all Commissioners in Tagliabue, He's too busy trying to make a name for himself.

2. He really got pissed off with the Bengals last year because we were the FIRST series of problems he had to address as new commissioner.

3. The Job is too big for him !!

4. He's power mad !!

First of all, remember it's pronounced GOD-ell. (Like Supermans dad Jor-el only...GOD-el...)

Second, GOD-el (he likes it when you spell it that way too) can suspend anyone he wants. For anything. Anytime. Anywhere.

Suspension of Bengalszone Billy will commence shortly...:lmao:

- I can just see it, While escorting his wife back from a restaurant across the street from where The Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles will play in SuperBowl 43 only 24 hours away.

Cincinnati Bengal quarterback, Carson Palmer - is given a $25.00 " jay-walking " citation by an Eagles fan Meter Maid.

- Commissioner Roger GOD-EL, immediately suspends Carson Palmer for the First 3 quarters and 12 minutes of the game.

- Luckily for the Bengals, Takeo Spikes unable to deal with the emotion of knowing he should have stayed a Bengal, tackles his own teammates several times during the game while Rudi Johnson and Chad Johnson score touchdowns. Andy Reid realizing Takeo Spikes' deception, ( knowing in his heart he'll always be a Bengal ), tries to remove Spikes from the game, but not before Spikes runs onto the field with the game tied, with only 3 minutes left in the game, tackles Donovan McNabb causing him to fumble in which Cincinnati recovers just before Palmer is allowed to return to the game. Palmer moves the team 70 yards for the game winning touchdown pass to Chris Henry on a 23 yard fade route over Sheldon Brown with 3 seconds left.

Cincinnati Wins 27 - 20 and Palmer is named the MVP , going 7 for 7, for 70 yards and 1 td.

F*CK YOU GOODELL, YOU CAN'T STOP THE BENGALS !!!!!! :sure::sure::sure:

GODell runs onto the field and says the TD doesn't count and that the Eagles automatically get the ball in Sudden death at the 50 yard line. As he walks away he's says under his breath that the Eagles better cover the f**kin spread.

Suspension of Bengalszone Billy will commence shortly...

Damn, I was counting on Billy to anchor the DLine against the Ravens.....

I'd do better at any DB position. I don't play "Big Cushion/Let 'Em Catch The Ball And Try Tackling Them Later" coverage. ;)

However, McNabb's first pass attempt is intercepted by Deltha O'Neal. O'Neal gets it to the 40 before snapping his ankle but manages to toss the ball to Landon Johnson. Johnson makes it to the 35 before his shoulder pops out again. Fortunately the moementum flips it to Caleb, who sprains/breaks/pulls about 12 things but manages to tip the ball to Hartwell. Hartwell suffers a massive non-contact injury to every joint in his body at the 20 but laterals to Madieu, who takes it to the 10 before he is put out of action by a severe turf toe. Just before the ball hits the ground it's scooped up by John Thornton, but the force of the football causes him to fall on his a$$. He hasn't been touched however and throws to Geathers who bats the ball into the end zone where it's caught for the winning score by Justin Smith. :sure:

Thus finally justifying selecting him as the number 4 overall pick.
