Ox
Update: Tab backBy GEOFF HOBSONAugust 7, 2007Posted: 4 p.m.PerryWide receiver Tab Perry returned to practice Tuesday afternoon for the first time since he injured his hip last week but he probably won't play Thursday night in the preseason opener. Also back on the field was wide receiver Bennie Brazell, who had been out since the weekend with a groin injury. Head coach Marvin Lewis has given previous indications Brazell along with Perry will not see action Thursday.Wide receivers Antonio Chatman (hamstring) and Glenn Holt (hamstring) remain sidelined and did not participate in Tuesday's practice.Chad Johnson (ankle) didn't work either in what is the last full-fledged practice before the trip to Detroit. It will be interesting to see if the Bengals hold out Johnson, who hasn't missed a regular-season game since his rookie year, Nov. 18, 2001, for a streak of 87 games. Lewis has indicated it's not serious.
BengalChamps
Apparently, Tab is not concerned about his condition. He is needed in this offense and special teams. I think he makes more noise this year than McNeal/Brazell/Chatman.

walshfan
Ill believe he's back after a couple of hits to that hip....not before.Brazelle looks fragile..Holt and Chatman need a Richard Simmons course in STRETCHING tight hammies..McNeal couldnt catch a pass if you handed it to him...Depth at wideout??? yeah right..... kingwilly
Boy I'm glad we wasted the Frostee pick and the Jeff Rowe pick....brilliant.I guess (yeah right) we did not think that Cheech would continue his escapades unabated, so I guess we can cut them some slack. Additionally, perhaps they thought Steiny would just want to stay in town and not get all demanding for his new contract...Mike Brown=football genius...gotta stop my negativity. need to put on some Bad Brains....I got that PMA! Kazkal
How did we waste those picks? who knew our WR's would be this banged up? offseason it's by far our deepest postion.

The PatternMaster
As long as TJ and CJ are healthy, were good. Let's keep our perspective here, were talking about the #4,5,6 wr's on the depth chart. They could sign someone right know to compete with the guys who are injured, no big deal. BlainThePain
Can't wait to see Tab back returning kicks this season. He was probably the biggest overlooked loss we had to the team last year.
