Clackwoods
I personally think the idea of a suit on the sidelines of a football game is beyond rediculous !!! How about comfort level ?? As a coach running up and down the sideline, calling plays, chasing things down, so on and so forth, do you really think a suit is the best option ?? Not to mention when it gets cold !!! Now, if he wanted to change into a suit prior to his post game interviews, NO ISSUE... A suit DURING the game is just crazy to me though. This isn't the NBA !!! I hope the guys wearing suits get caught in a suprise downpour and slosh through the mudpuddles in their wingtips !!!WHODEY !!!Sorry pal but I must disagree, I voted no because personally I think Marvin is into his gear that he wears now. But the main argument I have for you saying that suits are rediculous is Vince Lombardi. He always wore a suit and he is considered one of the greatest coaches of all time. Not only did he wear them but many of the old school coaches wore them. I think it brings back some of the old school classic look of the NFL. I like the idea, just not on Marvin.www.postalmuseum.si.edu/.../BIGvincelambardi.htm

That is like using cages at NBA games to shield the court from fans again. It is more like when teams where the classics jerseys, it is a good reflection of the past and where the country or in this case the game has come from. Kazkal
Ever occur to you that might be part of the problem? How is people not dressing in suits a problem?
Bobcat Bengal
I voted "yes" because it is something I'd love to see, but I don't mind if he prefers the regular NFL gear.I keep going back to Marvin's famous slogan, still on a favorite t-shirt of mine: "Do Your Job."I've still got that T-Shirt. Got it at Value City for like 4 bucks.I work out in it.
ArmyBengal
I could care less about what some coach did however many years ago personally and can't see it having a bearing on what the coaches wear today. Things progress and get better in time. Back then, everyone wore suits and overcoats. Why ?? Because it was the best thing to keep you warm, so who cared ?? That is no longer the case. You can't tell me you would prefer to head out into the rain, snow, cold, or combination of all three in a suit and overcoat when you could wear some of the cold weather gear on the market today. Once again, suits are great for the postgame interviews or talk shows, but they serve no function whatsoever (outside of a better look) and are stupid for being out in the elements for better than 4 hours at a time. Once again, I can't wait to laugh at these clowns when a downpour hits in the middle of the game. But wait, at least he will look good. Thanks Vince Lombardi !!!WHODEY !!!
