moron

Actually I have to agree with him, except for the fact that I believe Willie is better than Willis. Other than that he is pretty accurate. The browns aren't on here because their posistion players suck.

QB

#1 Palmer

#2 Big Ben

#3 McNair

RB

#1 Parker

#2 Johnson

#3 McGahee

WR

#1 Johnson

#2 Hines Ward

#3 TJ.

Parker has never quite shown he is capable of anything other than a few big games every year. Mcgahee is going to bring the Ravens running game back to respectability and Johnson is one of the most consistent backs in the league.

Ward was better than TJ, a couple of seasons ago, but TJ has passed him like he was standing still since.

Name calling is the last resort of an uninformed mind.

Agreed on the TJ and Hines subject. TJ had 100 yards more than Ward last season and he is our #2.

TJ = 1081

Ward = 975

To whomever said that I was uninformed,

6 Willie Parker PIT 1494 337 4.4 13 76

7 Rudi Johnson CIN 1309 341 3.8 12 22

200 more yards on less carries for Parker. . . . nuff said on that matter.

16 T.J. Houshmandzadeh CIN 90 1081 12.0 9

21 Hines Ward PIT 74 975 13.2 6

not to mention the fact that TJ is opposite Chad Johnson. . one of the better WR in the league, and Hines is basically by himself. . . and Roethlisberger had a s**tty year. . . .

oh, and Hines is the best blocking WR in the league.

With Rudi and Parker, you have to look at more than one season to make a valid comparison. Parker looks like he's set to be a very good player in Pittsburgh, but he has yet to become the model of consistency that is Rudi Johnson. Still, the two are very close IMO.

I do agree that Hines is a better receiver than T.J. though. He's been consistent for longer with less offense around him and an inferior quarterback (both Maddox and Roethlisberger).

This is why I think Rudi is a little better back than Willie(and also why Mcgahee will be better this season)

2006 stats

Willie's 5 lowest games

11-20

10-22

13-29

16-46

20-47

Rudi's 5 lowest games

12-46

19-47

16-47

13-47

17-52

Sure Willie had a couple of big games (22-213 NO and 32-223 CLE) but he was unable to carry his weight in others. You cannot have a starting RB get less than 30 yards 3 times in a season, it makes you to 1 dimensional.

IMO a RB that will give you almost 50 yards on a bad day is much better than an inconsistent one.

As for your comparison of TJ and Ward, you proved my point with your stats thank you.
