JMLMD
I understand why Delta O'Neal is skipping the voluntaries, but what is up with TJ missing them? I am actually much more concerned about TJ skipping that Delta O'Neal. Any word on why TJ hasn't been there? He apparently has looked good when he worked at the mandatory camps. Is he unhappy with his contract??

jonf45uk
lets hope not. With the loss of Henry we need T.J more than ever as the back-ups are hardly in the same category.Really hope they get the discipline problem sorted, as we don't need "star" players sulking!!(baring in mind how much they get paid).i'm sure T.Js not in that mold though...... Is he unhappy with his contract??I'm guessing it is to give his neck as much time to rest as possible. I just hope resting his neck doesn't give rise to other injuries that come about from not getting enough work to get into shape, ala hamstring pulls, groin pulls ect. TJ missed quite a few games before with hamstring pulls, I hope this doesn't happen once again.
Scottishbengal
These are only "voluntary" camps so I don't read too much into it. Could be he needs to rest an injury (as previously mentioned), wants to take his family on holiday, it's his mums birthday, he needs to decorate the lounge - whatever. I would MUCH rather Deltha attend the voluntaries - you only improve by strengthening your weakest links!
The PatternMaster
Nothing to worry about, he's resting up for TC, preseason, and the regular season. Plus it gives some of the younger guys more opportunities to get reps and the coaches can see what they've got.Really nothing to see here, move on!! ShulaSteakhouse
Can't he "rest his neck" while watching from the sidelines and keeping up on things?New agent...misses voluntaries...hmmm.....I sense someone unhappy with their contract, but not wanting to make it a public affair. maanster
i think it is his contract. the bengals have redone chads deal twice. he might be asking for the same? he is dealing with it in a low key way.
ArmyBengal
TJ might be the most professional player we have on the roster and I just don't see this as an issue. Personally, I don't care what his reason is for missing the practices because I know he will be there come training camp and will definitely be there when it counts most... On the field. Deltha on the other hand NEEDS to be there. His injuries and issues with the coaching staff could be resolved sooner if he just showed up and played. That would also be the best way for him to make the money he so desperately desires. This is another reason I don't believe it's contract related with TJ. He knows he'll get his from the team !!! Let him have another 1000 yard season and the organization will have to do something moneywise with him... i also can't see him getting what Chad gets. How many times has he led the conference or league is receiving yards ?? How about the team ?? Same as Chad ?? Not a chance regardless of how much I love having TJ on this team...WHODEY !!!
