The PatternMaster Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Ron Dugans! Where did he come from?Dugans was a hell of a gunner on punt returns, maybe they could switch him to safety, j/k! Quote
HoosierCat Posted June 1, 2007 Author Report Posted June 1, 2007 Hobs updated the piece, some good comments from O'Neal, sounds like he's ready to go.Dugans is there as a coach, part of the league's minority internship program. The kicker? So is Carl Plowed. Quote
HoosierCat Posted June 1, 2007 Author Report Posted June 1, 2007 Here's today's injury report from Curnutte's blog:Featured tailback Rudi Johnson is on the field in street clothes. He is not practicing. He said after practice he got sick with food poisoning on his last day of a trip to the Dominican Republic. Tight end Reggie Kelly (stomach ailment) did not practice.Left tackle Levi Jones (knee), offensive lineman Adam Kieft (stress fracture, foot), defensive end Frostee Rucker (knee, shoulder), fullback Jeremi Johnson (hamstring), cornerback Greg Brooks (knee) and safeties Madieu Williams (quadriceps) and John Busing (hamstring) did not practice. Williams received treatment in the trainer's room.OK, so we're like a few practices in to the runup to the '07 season and Keift and Rucker are already beat to sh*t. Brooks is already hurt. Oh, and Curnutte reports Chad looked like he may have tweaked a hammy... Quote
kingwilly Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 ...Perry is in a boot. Outstanding. PUP here he comes. Ok, how does Frostee get a bruised knee and shoulder at this time of the year? Quote
HoosierCat Posted June 1, 2007 Author Report Posted June 1, 2007 ...Perry is in a boot. Outstanding. PUP here he comes.Yup. Marvin confirmed today that, as widely expected, he's out for at least the first six. Hobson:The bad news came later, when head coach Marvin Lewis said running back Chris Perry is looking at starting his second straight season on the physically unable to perform list (PUP) and missing the first five games and six weeks of the regular season. TJJackson Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Frostee and Two Carry probably go to the same doctor, as far as I can tell Quote

HairOnFire Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Ok, how does Frostee get a bruised knee and shoulder at this time of the year? Rucker's shoulder surgery was about as serious as they come, and you can't play DE with a bum shoulder. Frankly, I don't think it's all that suprising that both he and Levi are still recovering. BengalszoneBilly Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 ...Perry is in a boot. Outstanding. PUP here he comes.Un-f**king-real... How this turd is still on the team is beyond my comprehension. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 All of you C. Perry fans out there still happy we got him instead of Chris Gamble ?? Personally I dont care about passing on Gamble, but this guy is f*cking worthless !!! I have always held out hope that he would come back and make some sort of impact. All he has done is cost the organization money and become an oxygen thief. Want to talk about a "wasted" 1st rounder ?? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Chris Perry !!! Ratliff, you are now no longer at the top of my most hated player list !!!WHODEY !!! Quote
BlainThePain Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 I wish we would have "reached" for Igor Olshansky or Karlos Dansby who fell to the early second round that year. Quote
HoTbOy Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 I am pleased to hear DO'Neal talking like that, hope he plays like he did in 05'...Also glad to hear KRatliff doing good...The KIrons pick is starting to make me come around, because CPerry is a bust, not 1 healthy season since he was drafted, I used to think that we could have traded RJohnson and let CPerry carry the load, I WAS WRONG... GapControl Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 I hope Chris Perry turns out to be our Fred Taylor. Quote
