princeton
BYU tight end Daniel Coats...his profile says he is a big strong slow blocking type. With sound intangibles. Suprised? :-) http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...anielcoats.htmlSam Adams is faster than Daniel Coats.

TJJackson
Sam Adams would collapse if he had to walk 100 yards, much less run (or waddle)At least Coats will eventually get there on his own power :-)
TJJackson
anyone heard about any more players?a P and/or a PK and/or a long snapper to give our incumbents some camp competition?

Maybe Sam can become the first player to be carted onto the field.

TJJackson
Looks like the Packers picked up two of the linebackers I liked as UDCFAshttp://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2...ed_rookies.html(and yes, I know both had character baggage, but I don't think one such pick would hurt us much)
kentjett
Earl Everett was a 5 star LB out of highschool where he played multiple positions. He is a good athlete that times slow. He started for 3 and 1/2 years at Florida and they recruit some pretty good players. He pulled an hamstring at the combine and ran a 4.8-40 which scared a lot of people. He ran a 4.7 at florida w/ a sore hamstring. It is really hard to run w/ a hamstring injury and it takes a while to heal. Don't be suprised if he makes the squad. Great p/u in my mind. He rarely ever misses a tackle, an area where we struggle.
TJJackson
I certainly hope you are right.....we do certainly need to improve overall tackling

NJ29
I liked Blue Adams coming out of college. Hopefully he'll show them something and we can pick him up.
