Ancient history movies always lure me to the theater, and this one will be no different. I can't help but be skeptical, given that I was disappointed with Troy and Alexander.

absolutely LOVED it. Just saw it last night. TD, it's nothing like the two you mentioned. Best since gladiator, in the style of Sin City.

This be your problem...it's not really a ancient History movie but more of a Frank Miller Comic movie....Ya its based off a RL event but with his touch....movie was freaking awesome.

Hah! I used to tear tickets there as an usher when I was a kid in high school when I wasn't working at the newer Showcase Cinemas down in Erlanger.

It's gone IMAX now huh? That must make the flick just that much sweeter!

I just got home from seeing the movie. I'm glad to say it was better than I expected. There were some things that annoyed me, but it was certainly better than Alexander or Troy.

Solid 9/10.

I'm going to see 300 tonight...looking forward to it. I've been looking forward to this movie since I saw previews for it a few months ago.

I just saw Black Snake Moan the other night. It is one f**ked up movie, but I thought it was good.
