walzav29 Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 When the Bengals lost head-to-head? I just don't get it. Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 its some weird trail of events where the chiefs would get in over them and then we would get the second seed because of it not entirely sure how it works out Quote
Who Dey Time Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 They get in over Denver if there is a 3-way tie w/ KC. When there is a 3-way tie, the first tiebreaker is to eliminate someone within the same division. In this scenario, KC eliminates Denver because of a better division record. This leaves KC and the Bengals with the Bengals getting in due to their Week 1 win. Quote

walzav29 Posted December 27, 2006 Author Report Posted December 27, 2006 Thanks people. I can't believe what I have to root for this Sunday. I do think the Chiefs will beat the Jags, but I can't see the Raiders or 49ers winning. I can't believe I have to pull for the 49ers. Sickening Quote
MacD BengalFan Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 It is a sad state when us loyal and devoted Bengal fans have to root for other teams to do our bidding. But such is the case, so GO RAIDERS, 9'ERs and CHEF's, I mean CHIEFS. Do us all proud. Quote
walzav29 Posted December 27, 2006 Author Report Posted December 27, 2006 There is 1 thing going for the 49ers and Raiders. No one gives them a chance. It's still a rookie QB in Denver and Gore could have a big one, and the Raiders do have a tough D. Quote

But such is the case, so GO RAIDERS, 9'ERs and CHEF's, I mean CHIEFS. Do us all proud.49'ers are very capable of beating Denver (Denver is not that good), and KC is quite capable of beating the Jags since they're at home. But considering what these teams are playing for, it's hard to imagine both happening. (KC and the 49er's don't have a lot of motivation to win other than pride/stats) Quote
jjakq27 Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 All scenarios contain one more uncertainty every one seems to overlook. The Bengals have to win on Sunday. Quote

If they continue making dumb mistakes as they have over the last three weeks, they won't beat the Steelers. I'll keep the faith though. Quote
