Hobson Getting Cranky Again?

So here I am reading through Geoff's latest mailbag column and run across this:

But it’s chic to bang Marvin and his coaches this week, so I’ll play devil’s advocate, club apologist, team house man, or whatever insult they’ll use in the New Age Rude.

 Woah! Did I miss something? Haven't noticed any Hobson-bashing around here lately, maybe another message board is riding him? Did Ralph, late of the huddles, and last I checked parked at bengalsjungle, fire off another e-mail?

Maybe the playoff pressure is getting to him...

I don't know what he's talking about. I have no interest in "banging" Marvin or any of his couches.

:lmao:

Don't know about "chic" but rather "obvious". The coaches never gave the team a chance to win on either side of the ball.

For all the moronic melodrama of an ESPN dipsh*t like Joe Thighhead saying at the end of the game that the Bengals suffered by not playing their aerial style, he failed to point out that that style has been inconsistent this year, the blocking has been porous at times and Palmer has come down with a case of fumblitis. Nor did he seem to notice that while Palmer was getting knocked around that either Palmer or Brat seemed unable to adjust to the edge pressure and call plays to get rid of the ball quicker. If anything, they should have run Rudi 40 times, especially with the brilliant pudding scheme on defense.

Yeah, I don't think any of us have any "interest in banging Marvin on any of his couches."

I personally try to stay away from Marvin's couches, since Chad always seems to be trying to sleep there, and we don't want to disturb chad, now do we?

:P

But here's a gratuitous picture for you, jungle: :lmao:

He forgot COMPANY LACKEY... so naturally I'll use it. He's a company lackey who made the career choice to be employed by the Bengals and trade in his "journalist" title for a job description for one that reads more like publicist. As I have said before, he can no longer be impartial source of news. Maybe that change is finally getting to him.

In fairness, I think most of his reporting is quite good. Unfortunately, there are times when what he prints (and doesn't print) has his employers finger prints all over it.
