Bengals Get Deltha O'Neal in Draft Pick Trade

At least it won't be Rehberg trying to block Suggs next year if Levi Jones goes out. The CHAD did get collared in that second Ravens game last year. But Warrick was money underneath. Maybe with Johnson & Johnson on the fly at the same time and Warrick in the middle this year, McAlister might not get no help.

While you are reading this remind yourself that I am a bengal fan.

Chad has some work do to before he can burn Mcalister, who IMHO is the best cover corner in the league. Last time they played Mcalister shut him down badly. I think his first and only catch came in the 3rd qtr and it was for about 8 yds.

Chad will improve and will be able to burn pretty much everyone in the league but he's not at that level yet. However he has a long time to reach that level and he will soon but he got shut down when we needed him last year.

Did you watch that game? Chad was double and triple teamed all game, McAlister didnt shut him down.

And McAlister isnt the best cover corner in the league, hes probly 2nd or 3rd, with Bailey 1st, and maybe Woodson or Surtain ahead of him.

Surtain is a playmaker but he does get burnt on occasion. If you watched the Phins-Eagles monday night you'll know what i mean. Woodson really is too much of an enigma to be one of the best. With his talent he should be but he seems to take some plays off.

I thought McAlister was better that Champ this year. Champ didn't have a great year with his lofty standards. IMHO McAlister was the best this year.

Deltha has become a bit of a headcase. he doesn't stay motivated. I don't know how when Denver was always in playoff contention, but alas he didn't come through. Hopefully Lewis can shake it out of him as he does have a lot of talent. I just can't figure out why Dillon and Gardner weren't just thrown into the trade as well. We could have solved MOST of our issues in 1 deal. You get Gardner and we get CD, plus some late pix change hands.

Good luck this season. BEAT THE $HIT OUT OF PITT, CLEV and B-MORE!!!

No way Shannahan would put up with Dillon's s**t. Besides, Anderson could always be the man again and with Hearst and Griffith (if he can keep his legs from breaking), you all are good at RB in the short term.

Good luck to the Broncs, too. Except for their return to PBR. It'll be a different ballgame. O'Neal gets three picks, two sacks, returns a punt for a TD and Gardener recovers two fumbles, makes 10 tackles, and sacks Plummer out of the game.

Loved the deal & we'll still get a possible shot at W.Poole CB which makes alot better sense.

I like the prospect of having poole, just not in round #1. If you recall when Lewis was coaching the Senior Bowl, there were write ups on Bengals.com on how much Lewis thought of Poole. Said he was tough, smart, and thought he would be an outstanding corner. I see us going after him any time after the first. Once again, I'm just loving this off season !!

WHODEY !!!

I was at the opener last year. With all due respect, as I do like Cincy, you will experience more of the same. PLEASE don't play us early. Carson MUST have some experience if he has any prayer of passing on Champ, Lenny, Kenoy and the rest of the NEW Lynch Mobb. CAN ANYONE SAY "COVERAGE SACK?"

And BTW,what is up w/ carson being the #1 guy. I have much love for Kit. He's getting SCREWED.
