Unlike the Bengals, the Stoolers know how to keep the lead when they get up big early on.

membengal
Starting to wonder if a fourth place finish and a fourth place schedule might not be a decent outcome. Nice little 6-10, Bresh fired, drafting in the top 10...maybe I could live with that. M.a.y.b.e.

Went and updated the mock draft page and started a new Big Board thread down on the draft board. Starting to resign myself to a "step back" season. FWIW, the Bengals took it up the tailpipe regarding injuries, and it just takes time to get Palmer back from the fraged knee. And the thought of getting all our guys healthy again, and back, with the addition of a couple top defensive draft picks...plus Ahmad Brooks with a year under his belt...and who knows, maybe even His Lordship back...yeah, I wouldn't want to be another AFCN team...But damn it hurts to drag out "wait 'til next year" again. CT Stiller
Nope. Unlike the Bengals, the Stoolers know how to keep the lead when they get up big early on.No they don't. Both of these teams are a group of underachieving A-holes. The Steelers will go 6-10 and the Bengals 7-9. Baltimore is no powerhouse but they'll win the division by default at 9-7. And be eliminated in the first round.

GregCook
Hey, the Bengals aren't a bad team, but they do have some problematic players and coaches. They are done for this season, so lets not delude ourselves. Look at their schedule, is there one team out there that is a "sure" win? No.They could go on to lose the last 7 games. Not likely, their offense is too good. Their defense is horrible having gone to giving up big plays on 3rd down to giving up big plays on most downs. Now, the entire NFL knows that the Bengals can't stop the pass if they pack it in to stop the run and they can't stop the run if they pack in the rear to stop the pass. Figure they lose against the Ravens, Indy, Saints and Denver. So 7-9 is realistic at this point. But they have blood matches against the Browns and Steelers. Figure they split them. So out of 7 remaining games, they lose 5 and win 2 ending 6-10 for the year.6-10. Good draft position. They need it after seeing Odell, Henry, Pollock flame out the last two years. At this point, they need a hellaious draft. Maybe even trade KnuckleHead Henry for a conditional draft pick. Of course losing Stieny and Justin this season means they'll get nice extra draft picks next year. Oh, how bad has the special teams been this year?
