CBin2k7 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 The offense has put up 41 points without the benefit of any turnovers from the defense. The defense gave up 35 points in 15 minutes and 20 seconds. That is horrible. Quote
alleycat Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 3rd and JamesLOL.Maybe Marvin was just buying his D a breather with that TO. Quote
CBin2k7 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 great the chargers got them where they want them 3rd and long. Quote
rwjcgc Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Does anyone here have any faith the D will hold? I don't. Hope I'm wrong. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Joseph went for the ball and failed, no one else around Gates. this defensive scheme sucks. Quote
rwalling Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Nice D on 3rd and 9! (Again!)Not much better on 3rd and 8! Quote
CPalmer9 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 terrible season bengals...better luck next Quote
CBin2k7 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I have no words for this defense today. Every single last coach on that side of the ball needs to donate their paychecks to charity. I can not and will not defend this defense ever again Quote
rwalling Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 1) Keep them out of the endzone 2) Go win this game3) Fire Bres Quote
alleycat Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 That false start was a genius call by the chargers. It gave them another down and another 45 seconds for a guaranteed score. Quote
CBin2k7 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 well at least Phillip Rivers is my fantasy QB this week. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 As I said, the Bengals are just a nightmare that never ends. They rip your heart out every year one way or the other. Quote
CBin2k7 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 You think there was a meltdown after Baltimore, wait until the quotes after this game. Quote

JungleFanatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Sad to say, but Cleveland has a superior defense to ours.Pee wee football has better D than we do today Quote
CBin2k7 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Thank you defense, you guys should have stayed in the locker room if you were going to put that crap out on the field today. 42 second half points. SD took the first half off and still won. Quote
alleycat Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Marvin Lewis has only one option to right this ship. Bull a George Bush and fire Bresh TODAY. Seriously. Announce it tomorrow morning and get this D turned around. The only thing we could do to make this Defense worse is to let him keep a job. Anyone could take it over and make something happen. Marvin has failed in his inability to cut this cancer from the team soon enough, but he still has time to at least save us all some self-respect. Quote

Look what Billick did with Fassel. Fired his @ss and started calling the plays himself. Please Marvin, NOW!!! Quote
cincy9275 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 this is just damn pathetic. this is the worst f**king defense to ever step on the field. if bresh is not shown the door after this gigantic meltdown i will have to really question if marvin knows whats best for this team. Quote
