Spain Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Look guys the same thing hapened to pit with injuries last year and they came on and one the super bowl. This team is going to get righted.(so will pit) soon. The real ? is when. I think this the game that the Bengals sneak up on someone. Quote
PMThor Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 None of the talking heads are giving us any respect anymore. They will rue the day.Starting today with SD. Now I am out the door to go to the game. Quote
bengalboomer7 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 The triumpniant return of our forum football expert!Where ya been, Spain. More importantly, what have you been smoking BTW, I still have plenty of faith, but it can easily be crushed this weekend. Quote
dcbengal1 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 This wil be the game that will determine whether we really have a chance or whether we start Anthony Wright for the rest of the season Quote
Spain Posted November 12, 2006 Author Report Posted November 12, 2006 ive been on the belladona. My plants are about done. No losing makes you not want to post. Quote
Tasher Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Me! Come on, Bengals! Pummel the Chargers. Quote
Spain Posted November 12, 2006 Author Report Posted November 12, 2006 If Carsons shakes the rust off this game this could get ugly for the chargers . Cincy wants this more. Quote

BENGALTHEM Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 My faith has been shaken ever since the tampa game. But I have a good feeling about this game. If the Bengals show up and play the way I know they can, we will be alright. But we can't afford another loss. I think if we lose two more time we are officailly done. Quote
Kazkal Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 You never know but with that being said alrdy looking in too next year. Quote
AGrizzlyBaer Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 its almost getting to the point to put a fork in them... Quote
DontPushMe Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Ive given up on this season. If we had a less brutal schedule maybe, but ive accepted that this just isnt our year.Heh, at least its basketball season... Quote

rwjcgc Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 My faith meter has zeroed out. Please give me a reason to be optimistic. I have started planningthe remainder of my 2006 Sundays to not include the frustrationsof a Bengals game. Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I hate to say it but I'm with DPM. If the Bengals prove me wrong I will be thrilled, but right now I think they are done. Quote
Stripes Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 The Bengals appear to have gotten it together on offense, and that alone should equate to some victories. The schedule ahead should be enough to do us in though. Quote

Spor_tees Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I still have faith in my fantasy football team. Of coarse I had LT and Chad today. Combined over 100 points! Quote
TJJackson Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 The Bengals are done for 2006. The had to win this game to continue to have serious playoff aspirations. Sure I know they aren't mathematically eliminated, and could win out and be 11-5 again. Yeah. Mathematically, that's certainly possible. It was good to see the OL play well.....as well as the new silent "let's just get the job done" Chad... Quote
agreen_112 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I still have faith. I still think we have a good chance at making the playoffs. Baltimore will lose 3 out of the next 4 and Pitt won't catch up in the long run. The coaches need to get this defense together. And special teams killed us. If we get these two things together, the sky's the limit... Quote
BengalPimp Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I refuse to give up on them, sure, it doesnt look so good, but they can still do it. Yes, we have a tough schedule and yes we have had our share of injuries, but who's to say that Indy,Denver,Baltimore,Pitt, or any of the other teams remaining on our schedule wont experince a rash of injuries, or just to a key player or two, that might give us an edge, especially if our Offense keeps lighting it up....still a lot of football left to play, and even though the Jets,KC, and Jacksonville are 5-4, Honestly, Nobody is sold on any one of those teams...Jets have a pretty easy schedule, but they will lose next week to Chicago, and not really a lock to beat anybody. KC still has to play Denver,San Diego,Baltimore and Jacksonville. The Jags have the Giants, Indy,New England and KC.....WE'RE NOT DEAD YET Quote
NYBengalfan Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 we get the saints, raiders, browns, and ravens at home next we can get to 8-5the ravens get atlanta, pittsburgh cincinnati and kansas cityi think we can still do itallthough atl doesnt look too scary right nowwe get the saints, raiders, browns, and ravens at home next we can get to 8-5the ravens get atlanta, pittsburgh cincinnati and kansas cityi think we can still do itallthough atl doesnt look too scary right nowdepends which atlanta team shows up. and if pittsburgh can step up and beat the ravens. As much as it hurts, you have got a good point!!!!If we can beat the Saints we still have a chance. We'll have a good shot at going 7-5.Dont give up. If we rally around them maybe they will rally around us. Quote
derekshank Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Our only chance is if Denver and Indy have nothing to play for in weeks 14 and 15... and by then it will probably be over anyway. I don't expect the Ravens to go worse than 4-3 to finish the season... and I don't see us winning 7 straight. We've dug ourselves a hole that is just too big to dig ourselves out of right now. Just because we're not mathematically eliminated, doesn't mean we're playing well enough to expect the playoffs. Just the opposite in fact. Quote
