Although the Rook does need to learn the meaning of the phrase 'designated driver'.
derekshank
Why wouldn't they activate Henry? There are plenty of guys on this roster that are cutting material. I don't know who it's going to be... but I doubt it will be a WR. Even with Holt on the roster we only had 4 true WR's that were available this week. schweinhart
Probably Busing if Dex Jack is back but I'd almost rather see Indiana Jones go unless he can stop with holds on Chat's kickoff returns.
bengalboomer7
Busing is probably a pretty good call, schweiny. Is will be someone that we can resign to the practice squad(if ya still can)
HairOnFire
Why wouldn't they activate Henry? I've got plenty of healthy heterosexual man love for Marvin, but when I read where he was considering NOT activating Henry I'll admit I wanted to bitch slap the Black Jesus. Happily, he's more than a thousand miles out of the range of my slapping hand. With Chad Johnson likely tying himself into unbreakable emotional knots due to the new gag order being handed down, just as Johnson was about to face DeAngelo Hall, well....Chris Henry might be the key to beating the Falcons. Put me in the camp that wants to go into the fight with the gun fully loaded.

And maybe just a nudge to henry to get back in and practice hard. But I would be stunned if Henry wasn't playing Sunday.
Kazkal
Same.....not with our WR in shambles...but you never know o_O
ChadJohnson-85
Henry is probably the best 3rd string WR in the NFL. Marvin would have to be on crack to keep Henry out sunday.
Kazkal
He's better then most teams 2# and could be 1# on alot of teams o_O probbley
derekshank
When Henry is available, the Bengals use their 3 WR sets a lot more often... and if you ask me, that is when they are the most dangerous. There are way more mismatches when Chad, Housh and Henry are all on the field... and it generally clears the way for Rudi as well, because the defense can't put 7 or 8 in the box.Henry may be an idiot... but at this point he is an important weapon on this team. I know our O-Line has been in shambles, and that plays a huge part... but in our 3 games with Henry we've scored 28.3 points/game, and in 3 games without him we've scored 14.3. Just ask the Steelers how important he is. They blanket Chad Johnson and Housh, and Henry goes off. They start to blanket Henry... and T.J. goes off. We have 3 great WR's, and as long as we can get them on the field, there there isn't a defense in this league that can match up with them. rwalling
Not sure there's a third down package in the NFL more feared than 85, TJ, Henry and CPerry.

Where's he at, I'll slap the s**t out of him. This coach is seriously starting to piss me off...
BengalChamps
He's better then most teams 2# and could be 1# on alot of teams o_O probbleyTo be a #1 WR you need to be reliable and out of court. Teams need to have someone they can depend on to be available every week. Cheech may be that some day but he is not there yet.
TJJackson
Hold on, are you serious? Marv's talking about not activating the young Phenom?Certainly he's serious. From while Chris Henry is eligible to return this week, Lewis said he has yet to decide if he’ll activate him for the game following his two-game suspension for violating various NFL policies.and “He could be (inactive) and on our team,” Lewis said. “What’s best for our team.”so.....stay in denial all you want. If Marvin doesn't feel he can rely on you, doesn't matter how good (or lousy, ala Askew) a player you are.source: http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=5612:

DesperateDerelict
Who gets cut for henry?, Mcneal or Holt? When did we get Torry Holt, and who in their right mind would cut him?Seriously - Cheech still has a date with the Clermont County Criminal Courts, and will probably be gone 4 weeks following that - do we rely on Henry AGAIN just to have him taken away AGAIN? IMHO, that's a locker room chemistry issue, as much as an on-field talent-pool issue. In Marvin we trust!?!

ArmyBengal
Everyone knows I love what Henry does on the field and I'll say, how can you NOT put him on the field if he can go ?? Is anyone expecting me to believe they would rather have McNeal or Holt when you have Henry ready to go ?? If he gets another suspension (probably will) then deal with it then. Until then, you take what you are given and more importantly, the win !!!WHODEY !!!
