bengalskyspy
I heard today, virtually from the horse's own mouth, that the Bengals expect Braham to be out for the season, or at least most of it. Forgive me if this has already been reported, but it struck me as new information. So we should get used to it and move on. I wont reveal my source, but you can't get much closer to the man himself, and not be married to him.
Stripes
I can't take much stock in that with no source.
BengalByTheBay
I think what BengalSkySpy is trying to tell us is that he is Rich Braham's gay lover.EDIT: JK, by the way. I have been mistaken as being serious in the past when I thought it obvious that I was kidding. At any rate, this would not surprise me if true. membengal
If that's true, it just confirms what we have all pretty much guessed at. ML has said as much, in his own way. Point is, it's on Ghuicac at this point. Hopefully he can meet the challenge...
derekshank
Hey... if we manage to shape up, and Braham comes back late in the season, it will be a big boost for the playoff push.
PakMan
Yes, soon after the injury I heard the same thing from someone very close to the medical staff and was going to post this on both Bengals boards that I play on. However, there was an article in the Post or Enquirer that explained it as a tibial fracture, and assumed everyone understood that that meant a LONG recovery time...possibly even season. But yes its true. And I posted this on Go-Bengals, but Tab's likely out for the year too. If he does come back it will be at the very end, maybe even postseason. Highly unlikely though that they'll rush him back from what he has. I would explain what he has, but am not sure if it is public info...so I don't want to violate HIPAA. Might as well make it count for something by giving us the juicy details. Of course that assumes that I believe you... which is in doubt. membengal
I'm buying it on Perry too. ML's weird odd silence about it, broken only with "his absence will be measured in weeks".What drives me so nuts about that is that it didn't have to happen. That whole sequence, from CP and the first team offense still being on the field late with the 34-10 lead, to the ill-advised pass to CJ that about got him killed, allowed the Browns to score the cheap touchdown, leading to the kickoff to Perry (a meaningless kickoff) where he got hurt. That Browns game was an unmitigated injury disaster (Pollack, Braham, Perry), as bad a day injury wise as this franchise has sustained, in my opinion... HoosierCat
Really, the Braham "rumor" is mostly old news. "Bone bruise" is usually NFL-speak for a fracture, and word filtered out the week after Richie was hurt that this was indeed the case. He's clearly out until late in the season at best.As for Tab, who knows, but I agree with mem that the lack of progress reports likely means an extended stay on the sidelines. I wouldnt be surprised if he was placed on IR sometime in the next few weeks to make room for a returning PUP player.

When I wrote it, it was that Braham is out. In hindsight, it would surprise me if BSS is his gay lover. I haven't seen BSS, but I still think he could probably do better. Sorry Ritchie.
